Johnson County deputies responded to the 200 block of Pedro Shoun Lane after family members asked police to conduct a welfare check on Tony A. Smith. Deputies arrived to find Smith armed with two guns. Police allege that he fired shots from one of the weapons. Police shot and killed him.
