A 50-year-old man was found shot in the neck and the shooter was chased by Tonawanda PD, Erie County helicopters, SWAT team, Amherst PD, Erie and Niagara drone units. Police found the vehicle behind the Amazon warehouse on Riverwalk Parkway in the Town of Tonawanda with a 53-year-old male with a self-inflicted gunshot wound who was pronounced deceased from suicide under police duress during the chase. Investigators say this incident is a domestic situation.
