OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
Riverside County deputies assigned to the Riverside Alternative Sentencing Program were conducting a probation compliance check at a home when a man refused to speak with them. Police tasered him and finally shot and killed him, alleging that he produced a gun after the taser attack. The officer fired at least 12 bullets into the man. No gun or hostility toward the officer is visible from the man who calmly walks away from police until shot and killed.
