OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
On February 20, 2024, at approximately 3 a.m., deputies from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a woman exhibiting erratic behavior and knocking on doors in the 11100 block of Crystal Glen Blvd. Upon arrival, deputies heard the sound of breaking glass, which was later determined to be the woman throwing a large paver stone through a window of a residence. Deputies made contact with the woman, who reportedly fought with them. Additional deputies arrived to assist, and the woman was subdued and taken into custody. During the process, she became unresponsive and was transported to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead. The cause of death is under investigation as a medical emergency that occurred during the arrest.
