A 911 caller said that the man followed them from a convenience store into a neighborhood nearby, and that he was displaying two large knives and threatening them.Police tased, then shot and killed him, stating he had had a knife. Family, friends and even local business owners all stated that he had been an unhoused man who had always been well liked.
