OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
Mesquite PD were called to the 3700 block of Nabholtz Lane at around 10 p.m. Friday for reports of a man with a gun in the street pointing the weapon at people in the area. When police arrived, they were told the man had returned home. Police heard gunshots inside his home. Mesquite SWAT was called in and the man walked out of the house armed with a shotgun and allegedly pointed the gun. SWAT shot and killed him.
