On 06/26/2024, Riverside County Sheriff's deputies responded to a family disturbance call at the 22000 block of Country Gate Rd in Moreno Valley. The call involved reports that Joseph Gloria, 46, had allegedly been intoxicated and threatened a family member with a wooden stick. Deputies arrived at the scene, deployed a taser to subdue Gloria, and handcuffed him. Shortly after, Gloria died during the arrest. The exact cause of death has not been disclosed.
