A Saginaw County Sheriff’s deputy tried pulling over a vehicle after seeing a traffic offense near the intersection of Albany and Wilkins streets in Spaulding Township. The civilian vehicle did not stop. The deputy started a chase and the civilian vehicle crashed into a tree at the intersection of South Washington and Banner Roads. Tony J. Boggs Jr. died.
