An Illinois State trooper pulled over a Kia being driven by Bryan Flores. As the trooper returned to his car, the vehicle drove away. The trooper escalated a high-speed pursuit but allegedly called it off and passed the chase to the Indiana State Police as the car was near the state line. The car crashed into a semi truck and Flores died. He had cannabis in his trunk, the likely reason for fleeing.
