Kerrville PD saw a white Honda sedan when they were looking for a stolen vehicle fitting that description. Police escalated a high-speed chase which ended when the vehicle being chased crashed into a pickup truck. The driver of the pickup was transferred to a hospital and a second hospital in unknown condition. The driver of the white Honda that had been chased died. The person was only identified as male without disclosure of his identity. Police initially stated they chased the vehicle because it “fit a description” of a stolen vehicle and police also initially also claimed the vehicle was stolen during an “armed carjacking” but have not followed up and given any details under which circumstances or alleged weapons threat the vehicle had been stolen and if this was indeed the same vehicle police hunted into this wreck.

An unnamed 63-year-old cyclist was riding east on State Road 200 around 3 a.m. near On Top of the World, a retirement community. East of the intersection with Southwest 80 Avenue, a sheriff’s office SUV hit the cyclist from the rear. The deputy told troopers he could not see the cyclist before hitting them. The 63-year-old unnamed victim died at the scene.

Vallejo PD chased a car they believed was stolen at 60 mph in a quiet neighborhood. The vehicle crashed during the chase, pinning a 76-year-old local neighbor between 2 cars in his yard. The man had severe leg injuries and died.

On October 16, 2023, Cullman County deputies hunted a vehicle into Jefferson County for undisclosed reasons. Police allege that there was a shootout between them and the fleeing vehicle. Police kept up the chase until the vehicle crashed in the Kimberly/Morris area. Police state that a “suspect” is dead without explaining what this person described with this criminalizing word is allegedly guilty of, also only vaguely admitting his death without clarifying whether they shot or hunted them to death or if this was perhaps yet another coercive suicide under police duress.

Brady Hanna was driving on Route 41 when hit and killed by a police chase crash caused by a lengthy police pursuit of a stolen Ford F-150. Brady Hanna was a firefighter at the Nettie Fire Department. The police chase continued after his death when the man being hunted stole a police cruiser and desperately tried to escape in it, was chased into Craigsville where he stopped and surrendered to police.

Georgia State Police said they “saw a Golf Infinity SUV speeding without a driver’s license,” also allegedly running a red light. It is unclear how police knew the driver was unlicensed unless they had been targeting and following him and this detail needs clarification from police. The vehicle slowed down, dropped off a passenger and kept driving. Georgia State troopers hunted the vehicle at high speed until it crashed into a Honda Civic at high speed, instantly killing a woman who had been driving down through Memorial Drive and Hairston Road when hit by the massive police chase crash. She has not been publicly identified yet.

Sacramento PD chased a stolen Tesla through the city into the turf of Sacramento Sheriff’s Office where deputies joined the hunt. The chase was escalated to high speeds until the Tesla slammed into a minivan of a third-party motorist. Two people had to be extricated from the van. One of them died. A Pima County deputy drove through wide open desert at 5 a.m. on State Route 86 and somehow missed seeing a man in the road and hit and killed him while he was allegedly lying in the roadway. The man’s identity and further details have been withheld by police.

Christopher Newport University’s police chief was the driver involved in a fatal pedestrian crash in James City County on Friday evening, a university spokesperson confirmed.

The police chief, Daniel F. “Wojo” Woloszynowski, was driving west of Route 60, east of Route 199, at about 7:45 p.m. when he struck a pedestrian.

The pedestrian, Shaine Deeleeoan Henderson, 48, of Williamsburg, was seriously injured and later died at the scene.

Dallas PD saw a vehicle they felt may be stolen and escalated a chase. The vehicle did not stop and police claim that when it did stop, they tried to ram a patrol vehicle. The vehicle being chased at high speed crashed into an allegedly uninvolved city marshal's vehicle who per police narrative was coincidentally there and the crash also hit another third party driver in the 10900 block of Elam. The driver of the vehicle that had been chased was ejected in the crash and died. Neither the city marshal nor the other driver were injured. A man was killed, at least 3 cars are smashed and the stolen vehicle was not recovered as it was destroyed in the high-speed chase.

Bartow County deputies were chasing a pickup truck, performed a PIT maneuver and caused a fatal crash with it. The pickup truck was attacked by deputies and hit a patrol vehicle when losing control, then rolled over, ejecting the driver who died. Bartow County launched a deliberate maneuver known to be lethal above 35 mph and killed a person because they suspected them to be driving a stolen vehicle.

Multiple law enforcement agencies hunted a vehicle from Marion, Arkansas into Hernando, Mississippi, ending in Crittenden County in a crash and fireball on the I-55 when the vehicle that had been hunted extensively lost control at high speed and crashed into a semi-truck head-on, killing the third-party driver of the truck.

This chase had begun as a domestic violence incident when a woman who had a no-contact order against a former partner was followed and rammed by his car on the road. Meridian PD saw a vehicle they felt may have been stolen and activated a chase. A female driver did not stop. Oregon State Police joined the high-speed chase and police escalated a chase up to 90 mph. the driver veered into oncoming traffic while fleeing. Danville PD saw a vehicle being driven by a man whose license was revoked. Police claim they saw the man driving erratically, bump a curb and police escalated a chase. The vehicle fled and police allege the driver threw a handgun out of the window. The vehicle crashed into a pickup truck driven by third party motorist William J. Marietta, 74, who was critically injured and later died in the hospital.

An Illinois State trooper pulled over a Kia being driven by Bryan Flores. As the trooper returned to his car, the vehicle drove away. The trooper escalated a high-speed pursuit but allegedly called it off and passed the chase to the Indiana State Police as the car was near the state line. Deputy Plugge was not hurt but her chase created 2 fatalities and 1 serious injury. Kern County Sheriff’s Office did not give any reason for initiating the chase which police almost always do first if they can justify their actions. No reason or indication for urgency that may be warranted to escalate a dangerous chase is being given by police who have no comment thus far why this multi-fatality chase was undertaken in the first place.
