Kerrville PD saw a white Honda sedan when they were looking for a stolen vehicle fitting that description. Police escalated a high-speed chase which ended when the vehicle being chased crashed into a pickup truck. The driver of the pickup was transferred to a hospital and a second hospital in unknown condition. The driver of the white Honda that had been chased died. The person was only identified as male without disclosure of his identity. Police initially stated they chased the vehicle because it “fit a description” of a stolen vehicle and police also initially also claimed the vehicle was stolen during an “armed carjacking” but have not followed up and given any details under which circumstances or alleged weapons threat the vehicle had been stolen and if this was indeed the same vehicle police hunted into this wreck.
