Police allege that a deputy was traveling on Highway 43 when a vehicle passed him at greater than 100 mph. The deputy initiated a chase and landed in the ditch with his patrol car during a high-speed chase. The car being chased hit a tree and burst into flames, killing Ramone Jackson and Shelby Kevwitch.
