Charleston PD saw a red sedan at 1:30 and tried to stop the driver who kept driving. Police escalated a chase that lasted until the man lost control at high speed, ran into a high voltage power line, the vehicle split in two and exploded in a fireball, killing the driver. According to police, they chased this vehicle into this crash after noticing he had “improperly working headlights.”
