One person died after an allegedly stolen vehicle crashed into a pole during a police chase on Monday, Aug. 29 by Kalamazoo PD.
Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety officers said the driver of the stolen vehicle died and two others in the vehicle were injured. Police did not state what speed they were chasing this vehicle at but the velocity of the crash split the power pole in half. The deceased driver was not publicly identified. Their gender, age, race, location of death were all withheld by police.
