One person died Wednesday morning being chased by police on the San Mateo Bridge just after 4:30 a.m. San Mateo County deputies chased the man’s vehicle and claim that they “lost sight of the vehicle” around Black Mountain Road. Police did not say why they were chasing the person. Moments later, a vehicle hit the man on the San Mateo Bridge. During the chase, the vehicle may have run out of gas, causing the man to abandon it and flee on foot before being struck by a vehicle.

A car was being chased by Baton Rouge PD until it ended in deadly crash just outside Baton Rouge Community College's Acadian campus near the intersection of N Acadian Thruway and Winbourne Avenue. One person was killed and at least two others were hurt.
The man killed was identified as 25-year-old Larry Harris, a passenger inside that fleeing car.
Witnesses said multiple unmarked police units were chasing the car just moments before the crash.

Vondreece Davis died early Saturday when his vehicle crashed head-on with another car on Pierson Road east of Martin Luther King Avenue in Flint as a result of a police chase. While police did not notify the family, they learned of the fatal crash from what they call “a block of witnesses” who told Davis that her son was at a local nightclub Friday night when police were clearing the lot. Vondreece pulled out of the parking lot and several Flint police cars followed. Three police cars began chasing him until he crashed into another vehicle and died. Some time after the accident, his mother complained that she was never contacted by police, could not get any answers and her car had vanished in the accident and police did not answer questions.

Missouri Highway Patrol escalated a chase to 95 mph against this driver for possible registration violation. The driver fled, made a sharp turn and the vehicle rolled over, ejecting the driver and a passenger. The driver died. A Virginia State Police Trooper in Campbell County on Route 29 attempted to stop a Suzuki GSXR 600 motorcycle for reckless driving. The motorcycle sped away. The trooper chased the motorcycle into Pittsylvania County, where the motorcycle crossed into the northbound lanes of Route 29 at a high rate of speed, when it struck a 2018 International tractor-trailer, head-on. Two friends Flores and Ruiz had gone in search of a cake for Flores’ daughter’s quinceañera. At the intersection of New York Avenue and Arkansas Lane, a wild car chase by police crashed into them, pushing them into the intersection where other cars hit them. Tito Ruiz died. Police quite pointlessly pointed out that it had been a “very short chase.” Ruiz left behind a family greatly struggling to care for themselves without him. His body was sent to Mexico for burial.

One person died after an allegedly stolen vehicle crashed into a pole during a police chase on Monday, Aug. 29 by Kalamazoo PD.
Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety officers said the driver of the stolen vehicle died and two others in the vehicle were injured. Police did not state what speed they were chasing this vehicle at but the velocity of the crash split the power pole in half. The deceased driver was not publicly identified.
