Police saw a Camry with headlights off and “followed but did not pursue.” The vehicle sped up with police after it and crashed into a pole. A 16-year-old girl in the backseat was killed when the car exploded in a fire ball. Police who were behind the vehicle put out some flames but were unable to save the girl.
