Adam Michael Green, a 40-year-old White male, died on June 14, 2021, in Hermitage, Tennessee, following an encounter with Mt. Juliet Police Department officers. Officers responded to a 911 call reporting an "unruly guest" at a home. A woman claimed an unknown man had entered her home, was sweating profusely, destroying property, and not speaking clearly. Officers believed Green exhibited signs of a substance overdose or impairment. When Green became combative, officers tasered him, restrained him, and handcuffed him. Shortly after, officers noticed Green had become unresponsive and determined he was deceased.
