On April 6, 2021, officers with the Houston Police Department pursued a vehicle after the driver refused to stop for a traffic violation. The vehicle fled at high speed and was weaving through traffic on Westheimer Road. Near South Dairy Ashford Road the vehicle collided with another car and burst into flames.
