On 02/27/2021, an off-duty Georgia State Patrol trooper was inside a BP gas station at 448 Boulevard SE in Atlanta when a man ran into the store followed by 67-year-old Leroy Snead. According to reporting, Snead was holding a knife and pursuing the other individual inside the store.
The trooper identified himself and ordered Snead to drop the knife. The trooper moved outside the store, and Snead followed him out.
