On 05/23/2021, Kings County sheriff’s deputies assisted with a vehicle pursuit that began in San Luis Obispo County and ended near CA-33 and Devils Den Road. After the pursuit ended, law enforcement encountered Manuel Beltran Moreno, who police said was armed and wearing a tactical vest.
