On 08/29/2021, officers responded to reports of a person with a gun who police stated was possibly suicidal in the 300 block of Home Park Ave in Atlanta, Georgia. Police stated they encountered Grey Bell and that he attempted to leave the area but was blocked by a patrol vehicle. Police alleged Bell then produced a handgun toward officers. Officers opened fire and killed him.
