The family has linked photos of Lovett’s home and the home where he was shot and they are linked in the Source Links below. The homes look nearly identical and it is easy to see that a man with dementia would wander in and get confused. So far, no bodycam can be located. It is unknown how much time lapsed from police first seeing him to firing fatal shots. Police have also not composed any allegations about him having been armed or why they perceived him as a threat. As they led him away, 25-year-old Jesse Wray entered the garage, engaged in some sort of argument with police, allegedly threatened to shoot if police entered his garage. SWAT and the Kansas Highway Patrol were called. Smoke was seen coming from the garage from unknown causes. It is unknown if SWAT fired any incendiary devices. The door opened and a woman and jesse Wray exited. Police allege he raised or fired a gun but shot and killed him apparently instantly.
