On 12/27/2023, at approximately 3:46 a.m., Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department officers responded to reports of gunfire near Placid Street and Maulding Avenue in Las Vegas. Upon arrival, officers discovered a deceased female victim, identified as Justin Davidson's mother. Justin Davidson fled the scene and carried out a series of armed carjackings and shootings. Two civilians were killed during the incident: one was fatally shot during an armed carjacking, and another was killed in a separate confrontation with Davidson. These two civilians are not listed in the database as they were killed prior to the police encounter.
Police chased the vehicle to Durango Drive and Agate Avenue, where Davidson was found deceased.

Las Vegas Metro PD were called to a domestic violence situation and found a man who had stabbed a woman. Police claim that he walked toward police and an officer announced on bodycam that he would deliberately hit him with the car and did so, killing him. Dannon Bryant was hit and run over by Officer James Burt who then exited the vehicle and with Bryant on the ground stabbing himself, Officer Burt first tased him.
Officer James Burt, the officer who deliberately killed Bryant by car had also previously killed 35-year-old Edmund Del Valle in 2009 who was jaywalking, was harassed by police, allegedly had a gun in his pocket and was kneeling on the ground before the officer when killed by Officer James Burt. Burt was cleared for this killing.
Officer Burt was arrested in 2016 for domestic battery and strangulation with kidnapping of his girlfriend and was cleared and put back on patrol. The apartment was on fire and a dog screaming for help died in the fire. The woman he had stabbed tried to escape via balcony and fell from a height while being rescued by a neighbor and died also.

But to tell you the truth, I’m going to kill myself before I go outside,” Beaudoin reportedly told dispatchers before he again threatened suicide. “I’m John Beaudoin, I didn’t do nothing wrong, but I’m going to kill myself before I go outside. I’m not going to jail again. You guys can have all of the s**t that I got. I don’t care no more.”
Numerous beanbag rounds were fired with 3 hitting him. He fled into the house once the impact munitions struck him. Throughout, he was described as distressed, holding a gun to his head while under police assault.
Police claim that he raised his weapon at deputies but it is unclear how deputies saw that unless they invaded the home. Deputy Huggins fired 4 shots into his torso, deliberately killing him.

David Earl Kingsley was on his way to the dog park with his beloved dog Nakita just before 5 a.m. A car driven by off-duty Metro Officer Benjamin Coreas collided with him forcefully, gravely injuring the man. His dog was confiscated by police as Kingsley went to the ICU. Kingsley languished in the hospital for several more days before he died. Police arrived at the family home and confiscated all of Nakita’s puppies, announcing all dogs would be placed for adoption because having unregistered puppies violated Las Vegas city ordinance. The officer was finally also arrested. After a public outcry, the family was given back the dog and puppies several weeks later. It is unknown whether the officer will face any charges for having caused a fatality while severely intoxicated.
