On May 30, 2021, a Dinwiddie County deputy attempted to stop a black Mercedes SUV for speeding on I-85. The deputy reportedly lost sight of the SUV on Route 703 and ended the pursuit. On May 30, 2021, at around 10:30 p.m., officers from the Milwaukee Police Department were dispatched to a report of shots fired. Upon arrival, officers heard gunshots and saw Roberto Zielinski armed on the front porch. Zielinski fled to the rear porch and continued to fire shots. Despite several orders from officers to drop his weapon, Zielinski reportedly refused to comply. In response to the threat, one officer shot and killed Zielinski during the confrontation.

On 05/29/2021, a 26-year-old man, Michaellee Ramos Avieda, was chased by law-enforcement after a shooting in Minneapolis. The chase ended in Elk River, Minnesota at Proctor Avenue NW and Highway 10, where his vehicle crashed. The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension found Avieda dead inside the vehicle from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.

On 05/29/2021, officers from the Sherburne County Sheriff's Office, Minnesota State Patrol, and Elk River Police Department saw a vehicle thought to be connected to a shooting in Minneapolis heading east on Highway 10 in Big Lake. Deputies and troopers attempted to stop the vehicle, and Elk River police joined the pursuit. The man allegedly shot at the officers pursuing him. His vehicle crossed oncoming lanes of traffic and crashed through a barrier. The man was found dead in his car from a self-inflicted gunshot with a gun found near his body.

Doral police officers spotted an allegedly stolen white Volkswagen around 6:15 a.m. and attempted to pull over the driver. The driver continued driving, and police reportedly stopped chasing him after he left Doral city limits. The driver later crashed the car into a canal and was killed.

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, along with the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office, U.S. Marshals, and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, went to a trailer to attempt to arrest Arnold Frazier Hager Jr. Hager was wanted for eight counts of sexual battery on a child in Maryland. When officers arrived, they used a PA system to order Hager to exit the trailer. Hager fired a gun from the trailer before coming out with a black semiautomatic handgun in his hand. On May 28, 2021, troopers from the West Virginia State Police, along with deputies, were attempting to locate a murder suspect in Martinsburg, West Virginia. While inside a home in the 100 block of Fairfax Street, a man shot and wounded a trooper who was protected by a ballistic vest. The man, identified as Herman King Myers Jr., then barricaded himself inside the home. Following an exchange of gunfire with troopers, officers entered the residence and found Myers dead. The vehicle, driven by a 42-year-old man from Topeka, collided with a Jeep near the intersection of US-75 and 286th Road. Both vehicles veered off the road, with the Avenger landing on its side. The driver and a 19-year-old passenger sustained injuries. A third passenger, 26-year-old Shai Lorene Chantele Boyd, was killed in the crash.

Christopher reportedly fired two shots at police from around his home around 6 a.m. Around 9:15 a.m., police entered into Christopher's home and took him into custody after he resisted. On 05/25/2021, Francis De La Cruz Abad, 21, was operating a Yamaha scooter when Officer Brian Davis of the Hamilton Township Police Department, driving an unmarked vehicle, attempted to initiate a stop shortly after 9 p.m. De La Cruz Abad continued traveling westbound on NJ-33 and collided with a Dodge Caravan. The driver of the Caravan was making a left turn into the Mercerville Shopping Center. De La Cruz Abad was thrown from the scooter, striking the windshield of the van, and was killed in the crash.

On 05/24/2021, 39-year-old Glen Ray Cockrum Jr. was driving an 18-wheeler and became the subject of a police vehicle pursuit in southern Arizona. The chase ended in Nogales when officers from the Nogales Police Department and the Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office fired shots at his truck; he was struck multiple times and died at the scene.

On 05/24/2021, Metropolitan Police Department officers responded to reports that Vedo Hall had barricaded himself inside an apartment on Alabama Avenue SE while holding a woman there against her will. Police established a perimeter. Hall exited the apartment with the woman through a broken window. Officers later located Hall and the woman outside the building. Police reported that Hall held a long gun toward an officer, and an officer fired, shooting and killing Hall at the scene. No charges against officers were announced in public reporting, and no final prosecutorial outcome beyond the initial review was reported.
