His shootings were in 2020, 2022, 2023 and 2024 so far. Officer Brunner is currently also under investigation for driving twice the speed limit and causing a crash that injured a couple. Hartley under pressure allegedly fired a shot at a drone that appeared at his window. Police claim he pointed a gun or fired a shot at an officer also. Police shot and killed him through the window of his home while he was inside. There is no record of any mental health help having been sent instead of a militarized standoff that led to his predictable death.
