On August 9, 2024, US Marshals, assisted by an unnamed task force and the Anaheim Police Department, attempted to arrest Victor Antonio Delgadillo at the intersection of La Palma Avenue and State College Boulevard in Anaheim. During a traffic stop in Cleveland County, OK, Kameron Jenkins allegedly shot a deputy in the face. Gwaun Frierson, a construction worker nearby, was shot and killed by a stray bullet.
