A woman called 911 and reported that a man had pointed a BB gun at her near Foothill Boulevard. Hayward PD arrived and approached the man who walked away. Police chased him and claim that he pulled a gun. They shot and killed him.
The gun turned out to be a BB gun. One day after the killing, Hayward PD stated they did not know the man’s identity and would provide it, if they learned who he was.
