Police were called to 1155 Shoemaker Road where Russell Heiser was suicidal and had threatened family members. When police arrived, he let the family members out. Police tased him and allege that he reached for a weapon. They shot and killed him.

Clarksville PD and Habersham deputies chased a vehicle for undisclosed reasons and attacked the truck with a PIT maneuver which stopped the chase. The driver, William Lamberti, committed suicide under police duress after that.
