On 11/07/2025, law-enforcement officers from the U.S. Marshals Service, assisted by deputies of the Rankin County Sheriff’s Department, attempted to serve a warrant on Ricardo Kirk at a residence on Shell Oil Road in Brandon, Mississippi. The warrant was issued for Kirk by the Omaha Police Department in relation to aggravated assault with a firearm. Upon arrival just after 5:40 p.m., the suspect fired at officers from inside the home and barricaded himself. After negotiations and additional rounds of gunfire, deputies heard a single gunshot from within the home around 8:45 p.m. They later breached the door and found Kirk with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation is reviewing the incident.

On 11/06/2025, deputies with the Alachua County Sheriff’s Office, assisted by U.S. Marshals and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, served a warrant on 38-year-old Ali Ihsan Bayhan for making terroristic threats against several elected officials and a Jewish temple in Tallahassee. When agents approached his residence on Northwest 16th Boulevard near 35th Way, Bayhan exited the unit armed with a handgun, refused commands, and reached for his weapon. Deputies and marshals fired, striking and killing him at the scene. Six Alachua County deputies are on paid administrative leave while the FDLE investigates.

On 10/09/2025, a joint fugitive task force involving D.C. On 09/26/2025, U.S. Marshals in Maricopa attempted to apprehend a fugitive wanted on a probation violation related to possession with intent to distribute. On 07/29/2025, Navajo Police and a U.S. Marshals Task Force attempted to serve a federal warrant on Morton Clauschee Clark near U.S. 191 and Indian Route 7, north of Chinle, Arizona. Clark confronted officers with an axe and barricaded himself in a home. SWAT teams surrounded the house and ordered him to surrender. Jarmmal Cox, 30, was the subject of an intense multi-agency law enforcement effort involving Terrell County Sheriff’s Office, Hogansville Police Department, and the U.S. Marshals Service. Cox was wanted for aggravated assault on a police officer stemming from a May 2025 incident, during which he allegedly assaulted an officer and took an infant hostage during a brief standoff in Troup County.
Officers located Cox at a residence in the Dawson area of Terrell County on July 17, 2025. Before law enforcement could make direct contact, Cox fatally shot himself inside the residence, ending the standoff abruptly.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) has taken over the investigation, reviewing evidence, tactical communications, and body camera footage from all involved agencies to assess the circumstances leading to Cox’s death.

On 06/28/2025, at approximately 4:30 p.m., Jyuno Alexander Daniels, 32, was found dead near train tracks in the 1300 block of Northwest 17th Avenue in Delray Beach, Florida. Daniels was wanted for a double homicide that occurred on 06/23/2025 in Boynton Beach, where a couple was shot and killed. Law enforcement officers from the Boynton Beach Police Department and the U.S. Marshals Service located Daniels, who died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound before he could be taken into custody.

On 06/11/2025, Felipe Millan-Gomez, 32, was wanted in connection with an armed carjacking in Onekama, Michigan, during which he reportedly forced a female victim to drive before she escaped. The stolen vehicle was later recovered. U.S. Marshals and Arkansas State Police located Millan-Gomez traveling on Interstate 40 East near Carlisle, Arkansas. On April 22, 2025, around 7:30 a.m., U.S. Marshals and Nash County deputies attempted to serve a second-degree murder warrant from New York on 40-year-old Donald Fields at a residence on Crabtree Lane near Castalia, North Carolina. On 03/04/2025, police began searching for 23-year-old Shamar Summerall after he was identified as the shooter in the fatal shooting of 25-year-old Mariah Sanders outside the 444 Park Apartments in Richmond Heights, Ohio. Witnesses reported that Summerall followed Sanders before shooting her multiple times. A baby was found unharmed near Sanders.
After an extensive search by multiple law enforcement agencies, including U.S. Marshals, Summerall was located early the next morning at Mayfield Heights City Park. As officers approached, he died from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.

David McKinney, 48, was wanted for a double homicide that occurred in Tucson on January 19, 2025. On January 22, 2025, law enforcement agencies, including the Yuma Police Department, Yuma County Sheriff’s Office, U.S. Marshals Service, and U.S. Border Patrol, attempted to serve a warrant at a residence on the 10200 block of East 37th Street in Yuma, Arizona. Mizikar, at a residence in the 2600 block of Saratoga Avenue in Cleveland, Ohio. As officers approached, Abney produced a firearm and shot himself. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Abney was wanted in connection with the shooting death of Mizikar, who was found with a gunshot wound inside a vehicle in the driveway of a home on Saratoga Avenue.
