Officers pursued Gaines until his vehicle struck a pole and flipped near East 111th Street and Forest Avenue. After the crash, police reported hearing a gunshot from inside the vehicle. Gaines was found dead in the vehicle from what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

On June 30, 2021, Tulsa Police officers patrolling near East 31st Street and South Memorial Drive observed three individuals outside a motel. Upon noticing the officers, two of the individuals, including 44-year-old Emmitt R. Weaver, ran away on foot. Officers chased Weaver approximately 400 feet before he stopped, appearing to experience respiratory distress and using an inhaler. The motorcyclist attempted to turn into a crossover but lost control while traveling too fast. The motorcycle crossed the median into the southbound lanes of Route 29, where it struck two vehicles, resulting in the motorcyclist's death.

Around noon on June 28, 2021, Avon Police responded to investigate a reported theft. Witnesses informed officers that the people had left and provided a detailed description of the vehicle and direction of travel. Officers located both parked in the driveway of a residence nearby. While officers were working to confirm their identities, Justin D. Murray drove the car through the front yard of the house and sped away. The vehicle traveled approximately 800 feet before crashing into a large tree. Murray was killed, and a female passenger sustained minor injuries.

On June 28, 2021, at approximately 7:22 p.m., Wilmington Police Department officers initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle reported stolen. The driver, identified as 16-year-old JahonBemboom, fled the scene, running red lights and traveling at high speeds. The pursuit ended when Bemboom’s vehicle collided with the driver's side of a flatbed tow truck, causing the truck to spin. Bemboom was pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported.

The deputies reportedly gave commands before drawing their firearms and shooting, killing Najera.The family of Oscar Najera has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the Chaves County Sheriff's Office, alleging that deputies lacked proper training and that Najera was unarmed at the time of the shooting.

On June 23, 2021, around 8:00 p.m., Pennsylvania State Police attempted to stop a 2004 Nissan Titan driven by Daryl J. Gakin, 34, of Spearfish, South Dakota, near mile marker 178 on Interstate 80 in Lamar Township, Clinton County. Gakin continued to drive, and officers escalated a high-speed chase for approximately 12 miles that ended near mile marker 165.7 in Marion Township, Centre County. Gakin's vehicle exited the roadway, struck a guardrail, and rolled over multiple times during the chase. Gakin was ejected from the vehicle and killed. The reasons for escalating this fatal chase were not disclosed by police.

Texas Tech Police initiated a pursuit of a Saturn Ion just before 2 a.m. The pursuit was discontinued by Tech Police due to unsafe speeds. Shortly after, the vehicle continued at a high rate of speed and passed a Lubbock Police officer who had just completed an unrelated traffic stop. The Lubbock officer attempted to catch up, but by the time the officer located the vehicle, it had crashed in the 4800 block of 4th Street, killing the driver, Isaiah Green.

At approximately 5 a.m. on June 23, 2021, a deputy encountered Robert Alan Blackburn, who was allegedly armed with a knife on County Road 742 in Corinth, Mississippi. The deputy attempted to disarm Blackburn using a Taser and pepper spray. Blackburn fled into the woods and returned approximately 30 minutes later. Police fired a taser at him twice and allege that after the second taser firing, he allegedly lunged at them with a knife. They shot and killed him.

Wolski allegedly told dispatchers he had seen someone with a long gun in a New Berlin parking lot. Officer Rick Helm, who was parked nearby, responded to the call. When Helm went to investigate, Wolski allegedly confronted the officer. During the confrontation, Officer Helm shot Wolski, who later died from his injuries about a month after the incident.
