FBI agents approached Neuman in vehicles with flashing lights and sirens and Neuman moved to cover, produced a firearm and fired multiple shots in the direction of the agents per FBI. FBI agents returned fire, defending themselves and their colleagues. Neuman was killed. This was the result of a joint operation by the Jonesboro Police Department and Craighead County Sheriff’s Office to arrest Michael Neuman.

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department was called because someone was slashing tires at a Calimesa business. A deputy from the Cabazon station located Marquez walking down the Eastbound 10 Freeway onramp while an off-duty San Bernardino police officer on the way to work saw the confrontation and stopped to assist. When Marquez still continued his advances, the deputy tasered, then shot him dead.

Initially, an off-duty officer, later joined by an on-duty officer responded to a report of someone suspicious walking and carrying a rebar. When Salt Lake City PD approached her, she reportedly yelled. Officers caught and pinned her on the ground, then hog-tied her. She became unresponsive and died days later in the hospital. She had been unarmed. Her death had been ruled a homicide by asphyxiation. No known charges against any officers can be found.
