Police dispatch received a call around 12:55 a.m. that a white pickup truck was following a car and shooting at it.Police escalated a chase that reached North Carolina and the call was transferred to the Cleveland County dispatch center. Deputies from Cleveland County found the truck and tried to stop the persons. Police said the driver of the truck fled by running a red lightand eventually turned off their lights. Deputies found the vehicle crashed into a home. Shelby PD said 6 six males were in the vehicle, 5 between the ages of 15-20 and one whose age was unknown.
