On June 11, 2023, at approximately 1:30 a.m., Pinellas deputies responded to 7850 134th Street North in unincorporated Seminole after a call that a female had been shot. Police arrived and an adult female was located at a neighboring home with multiple gunshot wounds. The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team and the Negotiator Response Team were called to assist. Police state that“specialized equipment and tactics were utilized” and Wayne Lovell Dew was located dead inside the residence with a self-inflicted gunshot woundbelievd to be suicide under police duress.
