Wallace "Walo" Lee Morris, a 42-year-old Black male, was killed in a traffic collision on June 25, 2021, in Memphis, Tennessee. An off-duty Memphis Police Department officer, Antonio Marshall, was driving a 2019 Dodge Charger eastbound on Walnut Grove Road at a high rate of speed when he struck a 2000 Pontiac Bonneville near Timber Creek Drive. The impact killed Morris and 19-year-old Travis Parham, who were in the Bonneville. Marshall’s vehicle was reportedly moving at 99 mph in a 45 mph zone. Marshall sustained non-critical injuries and was taken to Regional One Hospital.

Two Canyon Police officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation around 12:30 a.m. After discovering warrants connected to the driver, they asked Michael Deanthony Andrews to step out of the vehicle. At about 10:15 p.m., officers responded to a welfare check to check on a woman at a home. Upon arrival, two officers contacted the woman and her daughter at the home. The woman reported a physical disturbance with her boyfriend, Tyler Hodge. The woman told officers she believed Hodge had left. Hodge's vehicle was at the home, so the officers began checking the home and property. The two officers found Hodge seated in a detached shed in the backyard, armed with a rifle. Hodge ran toward the officers and fired multiple shots. During an exchange of gunfire in which a deputy was wounded, police shot and killed Hodge.

On June 17, 2021, U.S. Border Patrol agents attempted to stop a vehicle suspected of carrying migrants on SR-85 north of Lukeville, Arizona. A vehicle immobilization device was deployed, the driver lost control, and the crash killed the driver. The male occupant died on June 19, 2021, after being transported to hospital for critical injuries. Investigations by CBP’s Office of Professional Responsibility, the Arizona Department of Public Safety and Homeland Security are ongoing.

On 06/18/2021, at approximately 8:30 p.m., Everett Stern, 63, was struck and killed by a marked Atlantic City Police Department patrol vehicle at the intersection of N Arkansas Avenue and Arctic Avenue. The officer driving the vehicle was reportedly responding to a routine call for service and did not have lights or sirens activated at the time of the collision.

On June 17, 2021, around 9 p.m., deputies from the Socorro County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of shots fired at 78 Pedro Place in Veguita, New Mexico. A neighbor reported that occupants of a white Dodge pickup truck were shooting at an unoccupied residence. Deputies Richard Lopez and Carlos Valenzuela arrived and were met with gunfire from Dean Gross, who fired at least one shot at them. Both deputies returned fire, striking the truck, which caused an explosion. During the incident, Max Jaramillo, 29, fled on foot into the desert. Dean Gross, Joseph Ramalia, and two women remained at the scene and were detained by deputies. Jaramillo was later found deceased in a nearby arroyo.

On 06/17/2021, starting at about 7: 59 p.m., the Chippewa County Central Dispatch received multiple 911 calls reporting a truck driving recklessly in the Pickford area, heading north towards Sault Ste. Marie. Deputies from the Chippewa County Sheriff's Office located the truck traveling northbound on M-129 and attempted to conduct a traffic stop. The truck did not stop and continued at high speed with police chasing until it collided with the rear of a small car driven by bystander Katelyn Jo "Katie" Robinson at the intersection of M-129 and 20th Street. The collision propelled Robinson's car into an electric pole, causing her to be ejected. She died at the crash site. The truck then continued northbound, eventually crashing after hitting a stop sign, an electric pole guide wire, three parked cars, and a building. The driver of the truck was transported to War Memorial Hospital in Sault Ste. Marie, also with life-threatening injuries.

On June 17, 2021, Moon Township police responded to a domestic disturbance involving John Geisler, 37, and his mother. Geisler threatened to shoot his mother and any officers who arrived. After fleeing the scene, he was located in his vehiclewith a gun and rammed a police car before fleeing again. A SWAT team surrounded his residence, and after several hours during which flash bang grenades were fired inside, Geisler was found dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.

On June 17, 2021, a 23-year-old man, Derrick Tyrone Lamb, led Florida Highway Patrol troopers on a high-speed pursuit through St. Lucie County. On June 17, 2021, officers from the Marysville Police Department responded to reports of shots fired in the 4200 block of 88th Street Northeast. Shawn Michael Roy Montoya reportedly left the scene in a white pickup truck. When an officer spotted the vehicle and attempted to initiate a traffic stop, Montoya continued driving. An officer used his vehicle to disable Montoya’s truck. As officers approached the truck, they heard a gunshot. Police reported that Montoya died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.
