On June 8, 2021, Gary Anthony Creek, 39, was wanted on multiple warrants, including charges of first-degree murder in connection with the death of Brandy Price. U.S. deputy marshals located Creek at an apartment complex on Adair Lane in Sandy Springs, Georgia. During a standoff, Creek allegedly produced a firearm. After a brief exchange, he was found dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.

On June 7, 2021, around 11:45 a.m., a two-vehicle collision occurred near the intersection of East 220 Road and South 500 Road, northwest of Afton, Oklahoma. The crash involved a 2016 Ford Explorer driven by 48-year-old Douglas "Chad" Goodner, an off-duty reserve officer with the Collinsville Police Department, and a large farming vehicle. Goodner and his passenger, 59-year-old William McWhirt, were both pronounced dead at the scene due to massive injuries. Another passenger in the Explorer sustained serious injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital. The driver of the farming vehicle was not injured.

On June 7, 2021, at approximately 2:10 a.m., Deputy Casey Newton of the Happy Valley Police Department attempted to stop a vehicle driven by 44-year-old Jeremiah Lee Wright for operating a motor vehicle without license plates. Wright did not stop. Deputy Casey Newton initiated a high-speed chase up to 100 mph that ended when Wright crashed into a fence at the intersection of SE 122nd Avenue and SE Eagle Glenn Drive.

Wright ran away, and Deputy Newton chased him on foot until Wright stopped and turned toward the deputy. He was allegedly armed, and Deputy Newton opened fire, killing him.

A grand jury reviewed the incident and determined that Deputy Casey Newton's use of deadly force was justified and reasonable under Oregon law.

On June 5, 2021, Mark A. Sousa, 44, was seen speeding in Mount Vernon, Maine. Police could not catch him and targeted him again when they saw him hours later elsewhere driving a Volkswagen Jetta on Burns Road in Augusta. He did not stop for a traffic stop. Officers from the Kennebec County Sheriff's Office and the Mount Vernon PD escalated a chase at high speeds until he ran off the road and crashed in the woods near the intersection of Bartlett Road and Wings Mills Road in Mount Vernon. The vehicle was empty, and his body was located in a nearby field. Police state that he was ejected during the crash. The Maine State Police investigated and justified the fatal pursuit.

On 06/05/2021, a 38-year-old man driving a Honda Accord the wrong way on the 118 Freeway in the San Fernando Valley was pursued by law enforcement. The chase continued into Sherman Oaks, where the driver collided with a Subaru occupied by a bystander. The Honda’s driver sustained fatal injuries, and firefighters had to cut the roof from the car to extract him. The bystander in the Subaru survived. On June 5, 2021, Burgaw Police stopped Kyle Edward Shorette, 49, after observing his white truck driving erratically near South Dudley Street. Shorette stopped in the parking lot of a Piggly Wiggly grocery store at 103 South Dudley Street.

On 06/04/2021, at approximately 12:10 p.m., Whittier Police Department officers responded to a call reporting a person with a gun near a city dog park in Whittier, California. Upon arrival, officers determined that the individual had already left the area.
Shortly thereafter, another officer located the man on a city-maintained bike trail near the 12400 block of Mar Vista Street. According to police, the man allegedly pulled a handgun out of his pocket. The officer opened fire, killing the man.

Officer Enmanuel Familia jumped in to rescue him, but both drowned. Divers later recovered their bodies from the pond. Andrew Homen fled into the adjacent woods after the call. After a 45-minute search, a police K-9 unit located Homen. On 06/02/2021, a pursuit by Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies ended in the City of Industry when a 2019 Nissan Sentra being chased for armed robbery reversed direction and crashed head-on into a Freightliner truck near the 60 Freeway and South Workman Mill Road. On June 1, 2021, at approximately 2:30 a.m., deputies from the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office and officers from the Berwick Police Department responded to a report of a suspicious individual near Sixth Street and Utah Street in Berwick, Louisiana. Robert Pearce, a 37-year-old male from New Iberia, ran away on foot. On 06/01/2021, 28-year-old Angel Hernandez Grado, a Latino man from California, was pursued by the California Highway Patrol after reports that he had assaulted his girlfriend with an ax. On May 31, 2021, at approximately 9:30 a.m., the Madison Parish Sheriff's Office requested assistance from the Louisiana State Police regarding an armed individual, Michael Jackson, a 29-year-old Black male from Vicksburg, Mississippi, who had locked himself in his vehicle on U.S. Highway 65, north of Tallulah, Louisiana.

Upon being located by Madison Parish deputies, Jackson fled and crashed into a ditch alongside U.S. Highway 65. He then produced a handgun, leading deputies to secure the scene and call for assistance.

On 05/31/2021, deputies from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department attempted to stop a motorcycle with no license plate in Yucca Valley. The rider, identified as 29-year-old Bilal Winston Shabazz of Lancaster, failed to stop, and police escalated a pursuit. Shabazz abandoned the motorcycle and fled on foot through several properties. Sgt. Dominic Vaca attempted to detain him, and Shabazz opened fire, fatally wounding Vaca. Other deputies returned fire, striking and killing Shabazz. The juvenile driver did not stop, and officers escalated a chase that continued northbound on I-380 and westbound on Highway 150. In the 2800 block of Highway 150, both the driver and a juvenile passenger jumped from the moving vehicle. The driver was struck by the car and died at the scene. On May 31, 2021, an Onalaska Police officer observed a motorcycle speeding on Highway 35. The officer attempted to stop the motorcycle at a stop sign, and although the rider initially appeared to comply, the motorcyclist sped off down Oak Avenue at an estimated speed of 100 mph. While notifying dispatch to end the pursuit, the officer witnessed the motorcycle crash into a 2018 Hyundai Tucson. The motorcyclist, identified as 33-year-old Tou Yia Lor, was thrown from the motorcycle and died from the injuries sustained in the crash. The driver of the Hyundai Tucson was injured.

On May 30, 2021, a Dinwiddie County deputy attempted to stop a black Mercedes SUV for speeding on I-85. The deputy reportedly lost sight of the SUV on Route 703 and ended the pursuit. Upon arrival, officers heard gunshots and saw Roberto Zielinski armed on the front porch. Zielinski fled to the rear porch and continued to fire shots. Despite several orders from officers to drop his weapon, Zielinski reportedly refused to comply. In response to the threat, one officer shot and killed Zielinski during the confrontation.

On 05/29/2021, officers from the Sherburne County Sheriff's Office, Minnesota State Patrol, and Elk River Police Department saw a vehicle thought to be connected to a shooting in Minneapolis heading east on Highway 10 in Big Lake. Deputies and troopers attempted to stop the vehicle, and Elk River police joined the pursuit. The man allegedly shot at the officers pursuing him. His vehicle crossed oncoming lanes of traffic and crashed through a barrier. The man was found dead in his car from a self-inflicted gunshot with a gun found near his body.
