On November 13, 2021, around 2:30 p.m., Biloxi police responded to reports of Isaac Bell threatening individuals with a knife in a parking lot near Edgewater Mall. The situation escalated when Bell ran into an apartment complex courtyard, leading to a physical struggle with an officer. Both Bell and the officer sustained injuries during the confrontation and were hospitalized. Isaac Bell succumbed to his injuries a week later.

On 11/13/2021, Marcus Orlando Mann, 42, was outside the emergency room entrance of a hospital in Jackson, Tennessee, where he was reportedly being combative with hospital security. A Jackson Police officer who was already in the emergency room shot and killed Mann. He is believed to have been unarmed. The officer involved has not been publicly named.

On 11/12/2021, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department deputies responded to a gas station at 5756 Whittier Blvd. after reports that a man was setting items on fire and throwing them toward fuel pumps. Deputies confronted the man and fought with him near the pumps. During the struggle Wendy Carolina Flores De Roque exited a nearby vehicle holding a knife and moved toward the confrontation. A deputy fired his weapon during the encounter, striking her. She died at the scene. The deputy was transported for treatment of stab wounds and the incident triggered multi agency review of the use of force.

On November 12, 2021, U.S. Marshals attempted to arrest a man who had an active warrant for a parole violation in connection with an assault and rape in California. Officers pursued Elliot Lewis in an hour-long, high-speed chase across the Houston area. He reportedly made phone calls to dispatch during the chase, which started near the Texas Medical Center/OST area about 11 a.m. Police cornered him in a parking lot after intentionally crashing into his vehicle. Deputy Sean Speakman reportedly saw Jessiram Rivera in an obvious state of agitation while holding a shovel. The deputy ordered her to stop and put the shovel down and began backing away. Rivera did not comply, continuing to advance toward the deputy and threatening him with the shovel. Speakman then shot and killed Rivera.

On 11/11/2021, Springfield Police Department officers responded to a disturbance call near 3055 S. Glenstone Ave. after reports that Seth S. Rynio had left a nearby restaurant while intoxicated and causing disruption. On 11/11/2021, Gunnison Police Department officers responded to the Garden Walk Apartments at 802 N. Colorado Street after a report of a person sleeping in a vehicle that records indicated had been reported stolen. Officers contacted Gerry Donald Cooper in the parking lot and he drove away, striking parked vehicles and police vehicles while attempting to leave. During the encounter an officer became entangled with the moving vehicle and officers fired their weapons at the driver. Cooper was struck and died at the scene. Authorities later conducted review of the shooting and no criminal charges were filed against the involved officers.

At about 1:45 p.m., officers located the man suspected in the stabbing. Chassity Brooks crashed the stabbing victim's truck into the Taz game room, killing 45-year-old Jeffrey Mazurowski inside. Officers were nearby and began following Brooks. About a mile down the road, he allegedly crashed into a woman sitting at a bus stop, Lailani Snell, who was killed. Police arrested Brooks.

On 11/09/2021, the Brooklyn Park Police Department responded to a call for a stolen truck. Officers saw a man driving the truck. The truck drove through a ditch onto Highway 610, losing a construction trailer. It then dragged fencing for miles onto Highway 252. Police pursued the truck. On November 9, 2021, at approximately 7:00 a.m., an off-duty Las Cruces Police Department (LCPD) officer conducted a welfare check on a single-car crash on I-25 north. On 11/08/2021, around 3: 45 p.m., an employee of Pita Way Mediterranean Grill was reported to have brought a gun to the restaurant located at 6331 S Saginaw St in Grand Blanc but did not enter the establishment. Instead, the person barricaded themselves inside their vehicle. Officers from the Grand Blanc Township Police Department and Michigan State Police responded to the scene. During the ensuing standoff, the individual shot and killed themselves.

On November 7, 2021, Pennsylvania State Police were dispatched to 61 Ridge Road in Union Township, Pennsylvania, for a reported violation of a protection-from-abuse order. On November 5, 2021, members of the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office attempted to execute a residential search warrant on Chelsea Avenue in Long Branch. During the operation, Mark D. Walker II shot and wounded one of the detectives. The detectives retreated, and Walker barricaded himself inside the residence with his two-week-old infant. Negotiations continued for approximately seven hours without success. Around 2 a.m. on November 6, a fire erupted in the apartment building. Walker fled the building holding the infant and fired several rounds at officers, striking a BearCat vehicle. In response, three MOCERT officers returned fire, fatally wounding Walker, who was pronounced dead at the scene. The infant was unharmed.

On November 6, 2021, at approximately 2:30 a.m., Henrico County Police Officer Timothy Grant Million III responded to a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 64 near the I-295 interchange. The vehicle, driven by 53-year-old Tony Elliott Singleton of Norfolk, Virginia, had overturned multiple times. Upon arrival, Officer Million encountered Singleton, who was carrying a bladed weapon in his waistband. During the encounter, Officer Million discharged his weapon, fatally wounding Singleton. The officer was later indicted on charges of voluntary manslaughter.

On November 6, 2021, an officer attempted to pull over Chelsae Clevenger-Kirk, who was riding her motorcycle without a helmet and with no tags. Virginia State Police knocked the vehicle off the road, causing it to overturn, resulting in the death of 47-year-old Amity Jo Grey. Brian Price, 45, the driver, fled on foot. After a brief pursuit, troopers caught up to him, and a fight ensued. During the struggle, a trooper shot and killed Price.

On November 5, 2021, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department (CMPD) officers responded to a Walmart on Albemarle Road in Charlotte, North Carolina, following reports of a man threatening a store security officer with a firearm. The individual, identified as 33-year-old Derrell Lamar Raney, brandished a gun and refused commands to disarm.
Officers located Raney in the parking lot and repeatedly instructed him to drop his weapon. Body camera footage shows Raney pointing the firearm in the officers' direction. Officers James Longworth and Micah Edmunds, perceiving a lethal threat, opened fire, striking Raney. He was pronounced dead at the scene. No officers or bystanders were injured.
A firearm was recovered from Raney, and CMPD stated that his actions directly endangered public safety. The North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) conducted a review of the incident, and in April 2022, the Mecklenburg County District Attorney's Office concluded that the officers' actions were justified.
CMPD released body camera footage of the incident in February 2022, showing the sequence of events leading to the shooting. The officers involved were placed on administrative leave during the investigation, as per standard procedure.

Sheridan Road after receiving a call from the mother of Derek Collins, 36, reporting that he was suicidal and armed with a knife.
