Around 1:45 a.m., a Grand Prairie police officer identified a stolen Ford F-350, leading to a pursuit into Dallas. The Dallas County Sheriff's Office joined the chase. At Ross Avenue and North Peak Street, the driver of the stolen truck, 18-year-old Ramiro Sotelo, ran a red light and collided with another vehicle, killing its driver. On March 5, 2021, at approximately 3:00 p.m., Columbus Police officers attempted to apprehend Andrew "Dru" Eugene Teague, 43, who was wanted on a felonious assault warrant related to a February 2 shooting incident. On March 4, 2021, 18-year-old Bianca Michelle Trujillo-Lopez was driving on FM 2523 near Del Rio when a Texas Department of Public Safety trooper attempted to stop her for speeding. She fled, allegedly reaching speeds over 120 mph, lost control on a curve, and rolled the vehicle, ejecting a migrant passenger who was killed. The deceased's identity has not been released. Trujillo-Lopez and 28-year-old Isidrio Rodriguez Jr. were indicted on charges including conspiracy to transport illegal aliens resulting in death and serious bodily injury.

East Cleveland police attempted to stop a vehicle for erratic driving near Superior and Hayden avenues around 1 a.m. The driver did not stop. Officers escalated a chase that reached speeds of 70 mph on Euclid Avenue until the man lost control turning onto Lakeview Road and crashed into a utility pole. The 39-year-old male driver died in the crash. A 34-year-old woman in the car was injured and transported to University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center.

On 03/01/2021, Chandra Moore, a 55-year-old male, was the subject of an arrest warrant issued by Cincinnati police for the shooting of five people in Cincinnati on February 28, 2021, resulting in the deaths of his wife and two others. After fleeing to Detroit, Moore was located at the Rivertown Inn & Suites. The Detroit Police Department, aware of his location, set up surveillance and waited for him to leave the motel. At approximately 9: 50 a.m., Moore exited the building and approached his car. Upon noticing the police presence, he allegedly opened fire on the officers. In response, the officers returned fire, killing Moore. This incident followed Moore's flight from Cincinnati where he was involved in a mass shooting incident.

On February 28, 2021, Joseph Dugan, a 17-year-old white male, and Farrah Rauch, also 17, both juniors at Blair High School in Nebraska, were involved in an attempted carjacking in Muskogee, Oklahoma. After failing to steal one vehicle, they successfully stole another. A Muskogee Police Department officer spotted the stolen vehicle and attempted a traffic stop, but the driver refused to pull over. Police escalated the situation into a pursuit, which ended in a crash.
Following the crash, Dugan and Rauch fled the scene on foot. During the foot chase, police engaged Rauch in a shootout . He was fatally shot by police. Dugan continued to flee into a wooded area, where he reportedly shot and killed himself as officers closed in. The Muskogee Police Department is investigating the incident.

On February 28, 2021, Joseph Dugan, a 17-year-old white male, and Farrah Rauch, also 17, both juniors at Blair High School in Nebraska, were involved in an attempted carjacking in Muskogee, Oklahoma. After failing to steal one vehicle, they successfully stole another. A Muskogee Police Department officer spotted the stolen vehicle and attempted a traffic stop, but the driver refused to pull over. Police escalated the situation into a pursuit, which ended in a crash. Following the crash, Dugan and Rauch fled the scene on foot. During the foot chase, police engaged Rauch in a shootout . He was fatally shot by police. Dugan continued to flee into a wooded area, where he reportedly shot and killed himself as officers closed in. The Muskogee Police Department is investigating the incident.

On 02/27/2021, a deputy from the Wadena County Sheriff's Office pulled over a driver in North Germany Township around 8: 45 p.m. A "struggle" broke out between the deputy and the driver, and then another driver arrived. An officer from the Sebeka Police Department showed up. There was reportedly an exchange of gunfire, and all four people in the struggle were shot. Deputy Troy Mayer and Officer Jason Worm shot and killed brothers Shannon Michael Savela, 36, and David Jay Savela, 42.

On February 27, 2021, Dora police responded to a location on High Street in Walker County. During the encounter, two officers were injured and taken to a local hospital. Police opened fire on Roger Dale Gibson, 27, who was also transported to a hospital and pronounced dead. The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency assumed the investigation and will submit its findings to the Walker County District Attorney. No officer names were released.

On February 27, 2021, at approximately 11:00 p.m., a Kentucky State Police trooper conducted a traffic stop in the community of Malone, Kentucky. During the stop, the trooper requested assistance from the Morgan County Sheriff's Department and the West Liberty Police Department. Jerry Lynn Roseberry, a 48-year-old man, exited the vehicle with a firearm and refused commands to drop the weapon. A West Liberty police officer opened fire, striking Roseberry. He was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Morgan County Coroner. The Kentucky State Police Critical Incident Response Team is investigating the shooting.

Deputies from the Clay County Sheriff's Office responded around 10:50 p.m. to an apartment complex at 2121 Burwick Avenue after receiving multiple calls about shots fired. Deputies arrived approximately five minutes later and encountered Rudy M. Duvivier, who was armed and opened fire on them. The deputies returned fire, shooting and killing Duvivier.

On February 27, 2021, Schertz Police Department officers responded to a report of a deceased individual in the 300 block of Judith Ann Drive. Upon arrival, they found 45-year-old Kristen Slack, of Universal City, dead in the front yard from multiple gunshot wounds. The man, 46-year-old Todd Danhof, had locked himself inside the residence. After establishing a perimeter, officers heard a single gunshot from within. Upon entry, they discovered Danhof deceased from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

On February 26, 2021, Officer Dominic J. Winum initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle. Before he could exit his patrol vehicle, the driver, Dakota G. Richards, exited his vehicle and opened fire, killing Officer Winum. Richards fled the scene into nearby woods. Police later found him hiding in a barn. Richards allegedly made a threatening movement, and deputies shot and killed him in response.

On February 26, 2021, around 1 a.m., the Liberty Police Department responded to a 911 call reporting a woman walking on US-27 South in Liberty, Indiana. Officer Lorenzo Shepler arrived and found Maggie Ann Dickerson, 29, standing in the middle of the road. When Officer Shepler approached Dickerson and attempted to move her, she allegedly resisted, leading to a struggle. During the altercation, Dickerson reportedly pulled out a knife and advanced toward the officer, who then shot and killed her.

On 02/26/2021, officers from the Duluth Police Department were called to a residence in response to what they were told was "a physical domestic" incident. The officers were warned that a man wanted on felony warrants was inside and refusing to surrender. A woman also was in the home, but she left when police arrived. Following a lengthy standoff, police shot and killed David Conwell.

On February 26, 2021, Kalispell Police responded to reports of a red SUV ramming multiple vehicles. The vehicle was found unoccupied at a gas station. Isaiah Strong allegedly assaulted Officer Brady Gray inside the gas station after emerging from the bathroom, using a wooden object to strike her. He then attacked another individual in the store before assaulting the officer again, hitting her in the upper body and head. Following this second assault, Officer Gray opened fire, killing Strong, while also shooting and injuring an uninvolved person in the store with police bullets.

On February 26, 2021, at approximately 9:30 p.m., Thomas William Mack, 39, arrived at the residence of his child's mother near Gabriel and Hudson streets in San Antonio, Texas. He allegedly shot a man who emerged from the house. When the first responding officer arrived, Mack reportedly held a firearm, prompting the officer to retreat. Additional officers arrived and maintained a distance while attempting to persuade Mack to drop his weapon. After 15 to 20 minutes, officers attempted to subdue him with a stun gun. Mack allegedly fired twice at the officers, leading five officers to return fire, resulting in his death.
