Gregory Thompson, 60, was believed to be involved in the disappearance and death of Bernadine Rogers, 60, who was reported missing on 03/03/2025 in Wilkinson County, Mississippi. Her body was discovered on 03/06/2025. Authorities identified Thompson as a suspect due to his relationship with Rogers and conflicting statements about their association. After the discovery of Rogers' body, he ceased communication with law enforcement. On 03/16/2025, Concordia Parish deputies, narcotics task force agents, and Vidalia police officers arrived at Thompson’s residence in Clayton, Louisiana, to execute an arrest warrant. As officers attempted entry, Thompson shot himself. He was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

On 03/16/2025, at approximately 7:00 p.m., a San Antonio police officer conducted a traffic stop on Loop 410. On 03/10/2025, Mooresville police responded to a domestic disturbance call at a residence on South Street in Mooresville, Indiana. A woman exited the home safely, but a male subject barricaded himself inside, leading to a standoff with officers. After police efforts to negotiate, the man died by suicide inside the residence. No officers or other individuals were injured.

On March 9, 2025, at approximately 12:30 p.m., Jacob Sobieraj, 24, called 911 claiming he had killed a woman and a child at a residence on Mosteller Drive in Lancaster, South Carolina. Deputies from the Lancaster County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene and found Sobieraj in the yard of the residence. Police engaged Sobieraj in a shootout, during which they shot and killed him. Deputies then entered the home and discovered a woman and a six-year-old boy with gunshot wounds. Both victims were transported to a hospital, where the child later died from his injuries. The woman’s condition has not been disclosed. The child is not listed in the database because his death preceded police involvement. The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division is investigating the shooting, which is standard protocol for law enforcement shootings.

On March 9, 2025, at approximately 1:30 p.m., David Armstrong, 34, allegedly stole a vehicle at gunpoint from a gas station in Tarkio, Missouri. He fled west on U.S. Highway 136, crossing into Nebraska via the Missouri River Bridge at Brownville. Utilizing OnStar technology, police tracked the stolen vehicle. A Nemaha County Sheriff's deputy located the car on Highway 67 near Brock and initiated a pursuit that concluded on Highway 105 Spur, just south of Johnson, Nebraska, when OnStar remotely disabled the vehicle. Armstrong did not comply with commands to exit. Upon approaching the vehicle, a Nebraska State Patrol officer found Armstrong deceased from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.

On 03/09/2025, Washington County deputies attempted to stop Boyd Paul Brooke, 41, while he was riding a stolen motorcycle eastbound on Sunset Drive near Dixie Drive in St. George, Utah. Brooke did not stop. Police chased him through multiple streets, reaching speeds over 65 mph and running stop signs. At the intersection of 1400 West and Snow Canyon Parkway, he collided with a minivan while attempting to maneuver between lanes at a red light. He was not wearing a helmet and was pronounced dead at the scene. The motorcycle had been reported stolen in 2023.

Jefferson City Police responded to a disturbance involving weapons at a business in the 3500 block of Missouri Boulevard. Upon arrival, officers encountered an armed individual. Police shot and killed the person during the confrontation. The Missouri State Highway Patrol's Division of Drug and Crime Control is investigating.

Police responded to the America’s Best Value Inn in McKinney to arrest a person wanted on warrants. Upon arrival, officers confronted the individual, who allegedly opened fire, killing a police K-9 named Vito. Police returned fire and killed the person at the scene. The Texas Rangers are investigating the shooting.
