Ingram died from suicide under police duress. Sherrie Moore was found injured with several gunshot wounds and died on 09/19/2024 in the hospital. On September 14, 2024, the Clay County Sheriff's Office initiated a high-speed chase involving 33-year-old Steve Randle Miracle. Authorities reported that Miracle was a suspect in a residential burglary and was allegedly driving impaired when deputies attempted to stop him. When Miracle failed to stop and allegedly attempted to ram a deputy’s vehicle, a pursuit was initiated.

Miracle continued to flee at high speeds. The pursuit ended on County Road 209 South when Miracle lost control of his vehicle, swerved off the road, struck trees, and rolled over, killing him at the scene.

Alejandro Gamez, 26, died by suicide under police duress on 09/14/2024, following a series of events linked to armed robberies and the murder of an accomplice. According to reports, Gamez and Ambernovana Guadalupe Gradillas, 24, were involved in several armed robberies before arranging a drug deal on 09/13/2024. During the meeting, Gamez shot and killed Manuel Avechuco, 44. Following the murder, Gamez and Gradillas fled the scene.

On 09/14/2024, police located Gamez at an apartment complex in Tucson. During an attempted arrest, Gamez fired at officers, damaging a patrol vehicle. Police escalated the encounter, and Gamez ultimately shot himself. Gradillas was later arrested and charged with felony murder and robbery.

The investigation is being conducted by the Tucson Police Department.

During the chase, deputies deployed stop sticks, which caused the vehicle to lose control and crash. On 09/14/2024, around 3:00 a.m., Denham Springs Police Department officers responded to reports of a man firing a gun from the second floor of the Motel 6 at 125 W. Rushing Road. Officers encountered 31-year-old Chevis Whalen in the roadway near the motel, allegedly armed. Officers allegedly ordered him to drop the gun, then engaged in a shootout during which police shot him. He was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

On 09/13/2024, at approximately 8:40 a.m., a 38-year-old female driver was traveling northbound on I-75 near Dix Highway in Lincoln Park, Michigan. Her Ford Explorer struck the median wall before continuing down the freeway and colliding with a Michigan State Police patrol vehicle. The patrol vehicle, occupied by Motor Carrier Officer (MCO) Daniel Kerstetter, was conducting a traffic stop on a semi-truck on the right shoulder. The impact pushed the patrol vehicle into the rear of the semi-truck. The female driver sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Officer Kerstetter was extricated from his vehicle and transported to Detroit Receiving Hospital in critical condition. Despite medical efforts, Officer Kerstetter succumbed to his injuries and was taken off life support on 09/15/2024.

Ashe County deputies tried to traffic-stop a motorcyclist. He eventually stopped, but was allegedly uncooperative with police. Police admit to an altercation during arrest and state that he died during arrest. Officers gave him Narcan. Houston PD were flagged down by a woman who was topless in the street and told them that she was being assaulted by her boyfriend. Police saw the boyfriend nearby on the phone and holding a gun, alleged that he refused to drop the gun and police "feared their lives" and shot and killed him.

Vilmond Jean-Baptiste was seen with a knife. NYPD chased him to his home and found him hiding in the bathtub. Police fired tasers at him and he jumped out of the tub with a knife. Upon arrival, officers identified Gregory Ryan Miles inside a unit, where he was reportedly holding 32-year-old Aisha Yvonne Quest hostage. Miles fired multiple shots at officers, neighboring apartments, and vehicles in the parking lot, prompting police to issue a shelter-in-place order for nearby residents.

Officers attempted to negotiate with Miles, but the situation escalated, and police forcibly entered the apartment after nearly four hours. During the confrontation, officers fired at Miles, seriously wounding him. He was taken into custody and transported to a hospital. Inside the apartment, officers found Quest with a gunshot wound. Medical personnel transported her to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

On 09/11/2024, Polk County deputies were dispatched to a domestic disturbance at a home on Rockridge Road and US-98 in Lakeland, where Thomas England, 40, allegedly fired shots at a neighbor’s residence. Deputies arrived and established a perimeter around the home, identifying England as the primary individual involved.
