On 02/19/2025, at approximately 2:05 p.m., Miami Township Police Department officers responded to a domestic disturbance in the 9200 block of Sawgrass Drive, near PipeStone Golf Club. Family members reported that 21-year-old Jayden Stephenson was threatening them with a knife. Upon arrival, officers found the family outside and Stephenson inside, still with the knife. Officers fired a Taser and a beanbag shotgun in an attempt to disarm him. Stephenson allegedly advanced toward the officers. An offi er shot and killed him. The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation is investigating the fatal shooting.

On 02/19/2025, 60-year-old Eric Snyder collapsed inside his cell at the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center, located at 668 Oglethorpe Street in Macon, Georgia. He was pronounced dead that afternoon. The Bibb County Sheriff's Office reported the incident, and Coroner Leon Jones confirmed Snyder's death. The cause of death has not been disclosed.

Upon arrival, officers found a man actively stabbing a family member. Officers opened fire, killing the assailant. The stabbing victim was transported to a local hospital and is expected to survive. After being shot once, Zerihun reportedly entered another police vehicle, then attempted to carjack a woman's car at knifepoint. Officers opened fire on the man, resulting in his death. The Metropolitan Police Department's Internal Affairs Division is conducting the investigation, with an independent review by the U.S. Attorney's Office.

Reno Police officers located Reno Kupa’a Ke’a, 31, in the parking lot of Renown Regional Medical Center. Ke’a was wanted for multiple felony warrants, including robbery and assault with a deadly weapon. As officers attempted to arrest him, he produced a firearm. Officers shot and killed him.
