On 11/07/2025, Deputy Devin Jaramillo of the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office responded to a traffic crash in the Kendall District. During the response he was shot. He was transported to a hospital and died from his injuries. The shooter was later found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, and a second person is being questioned in connection with the incident.

On 11/07/2025, law-enforcement officers from the U.S. Marshals Service, assisted by deputies of the Rankin County Sheriff’s Department, attempted to serve a warrant on Ricardo Kirk at a residence on Shell Oil Road in Brandon, Mississippi. The warrant was issued for Kirk by the Omaha Police Department in relation to aggravated assault with a firearm. Upon arrival just after 5:40 p.m., the man fired at officers from inside the home and barricaded himself. After negotiations and additional rounds of gunfire, deputies heard a single gunshot from within the home around 8:45 p.m. They later breached the door and found Kirk with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation is reviewing the incident.

On 11/07/2025, deputies with the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office attempted to stop a pickup truck driving recklessly with a flat tire. The driver, later identified as 26-year-old Robert Wray, refused to stop and police escalated a high-speed chase that continued through Paducah. During the pursuit, Wray fired shots at deputies before crashing into a home on Lone Oak Road. When officers approached the vehicle, they found Wray with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The Kentucky State Police are conducting the investigation.

On 11/06/2025 at approximately 7:15 a.m., a deputy from the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office patrolling near the Walmart Supercenter at 21151 South Dixie Highway in Goulds attempted to contact an individual reported by a loss-prevention officer to be actively stealing 3 or 4 items. The man, 36-year-old Kennedy Graham, fled on foot from the deputy, who pursued. A physical confrontation occurred at the store entrance during which Graham was found armed. The deputy discharged his weapon, striking Graham, who collapsed just outside the store and died later at the hospital. The Florida Department of Law Enforcement is now investigating the deputy-involved shooting.

On 11/05/2025 at around 10:33 p.m. CT, DPS troopers attempted to stop a vehicle driven by 24-year-old Marshawn Kneeland for a traffic violation on the northbound Dallas North Tollway near Keller Springs Blvd. The driver refused to stop and a pursuit ensued until troopers lost visual of the vehicle. The vehicle was later found abandoned after crashing in the southbound lanes of Dallas Parkway near Warren Parkway. During the subsequent search, officers received information that Kneeland had expressed suicidal intent and sent goodbye messages to loved ones. At approximately 1:31 a.m. on 11/06/2025, Kneeland was found deceased from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

On 11/06/2025, deputies with the Alachua County Sheriff’s Office, assisted by U.S. Marshals and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, served a warrant on 38-year-old Ali Ihsan Bayhan for making terroristic threats against several elected officials and a Jewish temple in Tallahassee. When agents approached his residence on Northwest 16th Boulevard near 35th Way, Bayhan exited the unit armed with a handgun, refused commands, and reached for his weapon. Deputies and marshals fired, striking and killing him at the scene. Six Alachua County deputies are on paid administrative leave while the FDLE investigates.

On 11/06/2025, after a suspect violated an active protective order, returned to a residence near 5100 South & 4500 West in Kearns, Utah, a SWAT standoff developed involving the Unified Police Department. Nearby homes were evacuated and utilities at the scene were shut off for safety. After more than an hour of negotiations, the individual took his own life around 6 a.m. inside the residence.

On 11/06/2025, agents with the U.S. Marshals Service Violent Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team were serving an arrest warrant for a “violent fugitive” in the area of 3800 South & 5600 West in West Valley City. The man exited the residence armed with a handgun and attempted to flee. Marshals opened fire and he was shot and later pronounced dead.

On 11/06/2025, officers from the Suffolk Police Department responded to a BOLO for a stolen vehicle in the 900 block of Ashley Avenue. The vehicle was located and as officers approached, 45-year-old William Griffin allegedly fired a shot from inside the vehicle. Officers returned fire, and Griffin was struck and pronounced dead at the scene.

On 11/06/2025, an off duty deputy was involved in a domestic disturbance with Chiquita DeNorris George at a home on South Dekalb Street. During the incident, the deputy shot her. She died from the gunshot wound. Authorities later charged the deputy with first degree murder.

On 11/06/2025, law-enforcement officers from the West Virginia State Police responded to a call regarding a shooting in the Rock Road area of Mercer County, West Virginia. On 11/05/2025, an officer with the Niagara Police Department attempted a traffic stop on a vehicle traveling on U.S. Highway 141 near the Wisconsin–Michigan border. The driver allegedly did not stop and accelerated at a high rate of speed. The vehicle swerved into oncoming traffic and collided with a commercial truck. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported. The Wisconsin Department of Justice’s Division of Criminal Investigation opened an officer-involved death investigation with assistance from the Wisconsin State Patrol, the Marinette County Sheriff’s Office, Niagara Rescue, and the Niagara Fire Department.

On 11/04/2025, deputies from the Lee County Sheriff’s Office responded to a domestic violence call at a residence on Lee Road 831 in the Salem community. Deputies attempted to stop a vehicle driven by 54-year-old Billy Harold Morris Jr. of Phenix City. The driver refused to stop, and police escalated a brief chase that ended at the intersection of Lee Road 240 and Lee Road 241. As deputies approached, Morris shot himself inside the vehicle and died at the scene.

On 11/04/2025, at approximately 2:52 p.m., law-enforcement officers were responding to a call of a potential assault in progress when they located a black sedan with New Mexico plates driving north on U.S. Highway 550. When the vehicle stopped near the 28000 block of the highway, officers found a man standing outside his vehicle acting erratically. Within seconds, police shot him by at least five shots fired from an officer firing at close range. The highway was shut down for an extended period.

On 11/04/2025, beginning around 3:30 p.m., officers from several agencies pursued a stolen 2025 Chevrolet Silverado from Monument through Colorado Springs into Pueblo County. A state-trooper aircraft tracked the truck and deputies attempted a grappler stop near Mile Marker 110 on I-25. The man exited the highway at exit 108, drove west on Purcell Boulevard, and fired at least one gunshot at pursuing officers. The truck ended up stalled in a field near Purcell Boulevard and Fairbanks Avenue, where he reportedly opened fire again. A Monument police officer then returned fire, hitting him. Emergency personnel and Pueblo West firefighters rendered aid before the man was airlifted to a Colorado Springs hospital. The PCSO’s 10th Judicial Critical Incident Response Team is investigating.

On 11/04/2025, a Midwest City police officer attempted a traffic stop that escalated into a pursuit. Police said the driver, identified as 49-year-old Brice Lajuan Edwards, continued driving at high speed through city streets. Officers performed a tactical vehicle intervention maneuver on Southeast 15th Street near South Air Depot Boulevard. Edwards’s vehicle spun out and struck another motorist who was stopped in traffic. On 11/04/2025, a Lakewood Police pursuit of a motorcyclist traveling south on Interstate 5 until the chase ended in a crash at the intersection of South Tacoma Way and 100th Street Southwest. The motorcycle lost control and crashed during the chase. The rider was pronounced dead at the scene. The Lakewood Police Department is investigating the incident.

On 11/04/2025, following a vehicle pursuit initiated by the Semmes Police Department, 34-year-old Delyshia LeShaun Molette crashed the vehicle in the jurisdiction of the Mobile Police Department. A boy in the vehicle died from injuries sustained in the crash and another child was left seriously injured. Investigators believe the child who died was their own.

Meaike had been charged in South Dakota with first-degree manslaughter and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in connection to a June 12 shooting death. The scene remains under investigation.

On November 2, 2025, officers from the Cedar Park Police Department responded to a stabbing at the Top Spin Karaoke & Wing Bar on S. Lakeline Boulevard. A 40-year-old man was found with multiple stab wounds and transported to the hospital in stable condition. The man, 24-year-old Jacob Allen of Cedar Park, fled the scene on a motorcycle. After a brief pursuit, he stopped in a traffic lane near Fall Creek Drive, got off his motorcycle and pointed a handgun at officers. Two officers, Canine Officer Erik Detlefsen and Sgt. Ryan Zander, then opened fire, striking Allen. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

On November 2, 2025, deputies from the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office shot and killed 27-year-old Mario Camacho during a domestic violence call in Brandon. On 11/01/2025, Padmini Waldron, age 47, was found dead alongside her husband in their DeLand home at 9097 Cape Cod Road. Investigators determined her husband shot her and then killed himself, making this a case of murder-suicide. The couple had been married for 12 years.

On 10/31/2025, Wichita police attempted to stop a vehicle in east Wichita after identifying 16-year-old Dreshawn Hardyway, who was reportedly violating probation conditions. Hardyway fled in a 2018 Chevrolet Malibu with several passengers. The pursuit ended when the vehicle collided with a 2021 Chrysler Voyager near 8th Street and Edgemoor Street. Hardyway was transported to Wesley Medical Center and died from his injuries on 11/03/2025.

The deputy gave multiple verbal commands; when Williams allegedly opened the passenger side door, the deputy discharged his firearm, striking Williams multiple times. A pursuit ensued and the deputies executed a PIT maneuver on the vehicle. The driver then died by suicide at the scene, and the vehicle came to rest in a ditch.

On October 31, 2025 at about 6:30 a.m., the Walton County Sheriff’s Office responded to a 911 call reporting a shooting and stabbing at a home on Beacon Way in Santa Rosa Beach. A 29-year-old man, Jared Andrew Keller, confronted deputies in the front yard armed first with a knife and then with a firearm after failing verbal commands. Deputies fired, killing Keller. Inside the home, two elderly victims (a brother and sister) had been stabbed; one died, the other was hospitalized and later released. The incident is under investigation by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.

On 10/30/2025, deputies from the Calloway County and Marshall County Sheriff’s Offices, along with Kentucky State Police, escalated a high-speed pursuit after receiving reports of a man firing shots during the chase on Highway 62 near the Marshall–Calloway County line. The chase ended near Benton when the man exited his vehicle armed, and officers opened fire, killing him. The Kentucky State Police Critical Incident Response Team is conducting the investigation.

On 10/30/2025, Arkansas State Police escalated a chase involving a red Infiniti traveling eastbound on I-30 near mile marker 133 in Little Rock. The driver reached speeds exceeding 130 miles per hour before exiting at McDaniel Drive. The vehicle struck another car, crashed into heavy machinery, and caught fire. A 16-year-old female passenger was killed at the scene.
