Dean failed to stop, initiating a high-speed pursuit. Deputies performed a Precision Immobilization Technique (PIT) maneuver, causing the vehicle to overturn. Dean was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene. The Georgia State Patrol is investigating the incident.
