On January 28, 2025, deputies from the Travis County Sheriff's Office responded to a 911 call from an out-of-state individual reporting that his father was holding his mother at gunpoint at a residence in the 14200 block of FM 2769 in Northwest Austin, Texas. Upon arrival, deputies heard cries for help and entered the home, where they found a man holding a gun to a woman's head.
