Around 10:16 a.m., Pennsylvania State Police attempted to serve an arrest warrant on a 62-year-old Carbon County man at the Super 8 Hotel on Airport Road in Allentown. The motorcycle reached speeds in excess of 100 mph. The rider swerved to avoid a vehicle near Belvedere-Clearwater Road, lost control, and was ejected from the 2013 Harley-Davidson. Walker was transported to Wellstar MCG Health where he died at 11:03 p.m. The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating.

On 10/14/2025, around 12:30 a.m., South Bend police responded to reports of a stabbing at Karl King Apartments. Officers secured the area but were unable to immediately locate a victim. After obtaining a search warrant, they entered an apartment and encountered an armed individual. The person advanced toward officers, who opened fire and shot them. The individual was transported to a hospital and later died. The Mishawaka Police Department and St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Office are investigating the shooting.

On 10/13/2025, a 17-hour police standoff occurred at a home on Old Mills Road in Pottawatomie County. Deputies said they responded to a welfare check and found a man barricaded inside the home. On 10/13/2025, a Florida Highway Patrol trooper attempted to stop a motorcyclist for reckless driving in the Yamato Road / Technology Way area. The motorcyclist fled and was tracked by aerial units. The pursuit ended at a plaza, where the driver produced a firearm and shot himself in the head. He was transported to Broward North Hospital with life-threatening injuries and later died.

On 10/13/2025, at about 4:40 a.m., a 36-year-old Roseville man drove his vehicle into the rear of a legally parked patrol SUV outside the Roseville Police Department. After exiting his vehicle, he brandished a knife and advanced toward officers despite commands to drop it. Two officers discharged their firearms, striking him. He was transported to a hospital, listed in stable condition. The officer in the struck SUV sustained minor injuries. The Macomb County Sheriff’s Office is handling the investigation.

He was transported to Grant Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 3:56 a.m. Several other individuals were detained.
