On 11/11/2025, 20-year-old Dalyn Elder of Augusta was pronounced dead at 8:15 a.m. after being hospitalized following a shoot-out with deputies on 10/02/2025. The incident began when deputies responded to a robbery at a gas station on Washington Road, and Elder who was not one of the robbery suspects fled and opened fire on deputies. One deputy sustained gunshot wounds. Elder remained hospitalized until his death.

On 11/11/2025, 48-year-old Jose Reynaldo Lombera was shot and killed by police in Redwood City, California, following a standoff in the 200 block of Hazel Avenue. On November 10, 2025, at about 3:45 p.m., Kentucky State Police received a call that a man was firing a weapon in a threatening manner at his home. The 37-year-old man, Terry Carney Jr., left in his truck, rammed a deputy’s cruiser while the deputy attempted to stop him, and fled. Officers pursued until his truck ran off the road in the 400 block of Woodlawn Road. He exited the truck, opened fire on the officers, and officers returned fire. He died at the scene.

On 11/10/2025, 28-year-old Kevin Fajardo died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound as officers executed a search warrant at a home on the 1200 block of Walnut Street in West Des Moines. Fajardo had been identified as being involved in an October 26 shooting in Des Moines that seriously injured a 16-year-old girl. Officers announced their presence before entering and used a distraction device. After forcing entry, they found Fajardo dead with a firearm equipped with an automatic-fire conversion device nearby. On 11/06/2025 at approximately 7:15 a.m., a deputy from the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office patrolling near the Walmart Supercenter at 21151 South Dixie Highway in Goulds attempted to contact an individual reported by a loss-prevention officer to be actively stealing 3 or 4 items. The man, 36-year-old Kennedy Graham, fled on foot from the deputy, who pursued. A physical confrontation occurred at the store entrance during which Graham was found armed. The deputy discharged his weapon, striking Graham, who collapsed just outside the store and died later at the hospital. The Florida Department of Law Enforcement is now investigating the deputy-involved shooting.

On 11/05/2025 at around 10:33 p.m. CT, DPS troopers attempted to stop a vehicle driven by 24-year-old Marshawn Kneeland for a traffic violation on the northbound Dallas North Tollway near Keller Springs Blvd. The driver refused to stop and a pursuit ensued until troopers lost visual of the vehicle. The vehicle was later found abandoned after crashing in the southbound lanes of Dallas Parkway near Warren Parkway. During the subsequent search, officers received information that Kneeland had expressed suicidal intent and sent goodbye messages to loved ones. At approximately 1:31 a.m. on 11/06/2025, Kneeland was found deceased from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

On 11/06/2025, deputies with the Alachua County Sheriff’s Office, assisted by U.S. Marshals and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, served a warrant on 38-year-old Ali Ihsan Bayhan for making terroristic threats against several elected officials and a Jewish temple in Tallahassee. On 11/06/2025, after a suspect violated an active protective order, returned to a residence near 5100 South & 4500 West in Kearns, Utah, a SWAT standoff developed involving the Unified Police Department. Nearby homes were evacuated and utilities at the scene were shut off for safety. After more than an hour of negotiations, the individual took his own life around 6 a.m. inside the residence.

On 11/06/2025, agents with the U.S. Marshals Service Violent Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team were serving an arrest warrant for a “violent fugitive” in the area of 3800 South & 5600 West in West Valley City. The man exited the residence armed with a handgun and attempted to flee. Marshals opened fire and he was shot and later pronounced dead.

On 11/06/2025, officers from the Suffolk Police Department responded to a BOLO for a stolen vehicle in the 900 block of Ashley Avenue. The vehicle was located and as officers approached, 45-year-old William Griffin allegedly fired a shot from inside the vehicle. Officers returned fire, and Griffin was struck and pronounced dead at the scene.

On 11/06/2025, an off duty deputy was involved in a domestic disturbance with Chiquita DeNorris George at a home on South Dekalb Street. During the incident, the deputy shot her. She died from the gunshot wound. Authorities later charged the deputy with first degree murder.
