On October 25, 2025, around 1:42 a.m., officers from the Manchester Police Department attempted to stop a vehicle on Center Street for misuse of a marker plate. The driver did not stop and fled toward Interstate 84 westbound. Officers deployed stop sticks on the on-ramp, puncturing the vehicle’s tires, but the driver continued. While on the highway the driver opened fire at officers, striking at least one patrol cruiser. A Manchester officer returned fire and struck the driver. Emergency personnel transported Samuel Lee, 39, to Hartford Hospital. His condition was reported as non-life-threatening. The state Office of the Inspector General and the Connecticut State Police are investigating the incident.

On 08/23/2025 around 11:45 a.m., Glastonbury Police attempted to stop a Toyota Camry after receiving reports of a woman slumped over the wheel at Main Street and Great Pond Road. Police escalated a chase, but then called it off. Minutes later, the pursued vehicle lost control on Route 17 near Overlook Court, crossed into oncoming lanes, and collided with a Honda Pilot. The driver of the Camry was killed. A driver and teenage passenger in the Honda were injured.

On 06/11/2025, Stratford Police responded to a residence on Columbus Avenue after a state marshal served an eviction notice to 70-year-old John Percell. Shortly after the notice was delivered, two gunshots were heard from inside the home. Officers established a perimeter and deployed their Special Response Team (SRT), which took over tactical operations. The team used an armored vehicle to secure the front approach and deployed a surveillance drone to assess interior conditions and determine Percell’s movements. The drone revealed Percell and a dog both down inside. Negotiators attempted to establish communication, but no response was received. Following these assessments, officers forced entry into the home and found Percell deceased from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, alongside the fatally shot dog. A .45-caliber handgun was found in the home.

At 12:59 a.m., Wolcott Police responded to a call about a man "freaking out" on Dale Avenue. Officers found Joseph Jackson behaving erratically and speaking incoherently. Jackson was handcuffed despite resistance. EMS arrived and administered a sedative. While in the ambulance, Jackson went into cardiac arrest. Bowen fled on foot, discarding two firearms along his path. Detective Joseph Walsh encountered Bowen emerging from an alley on Magnolia Street and, after reportedly ordering him to "Drop the gun," fired multiple rounds, fatally wounding Bowen. Two Glock firearms, matching those seen in the Instagram Live video, were recovered along Bowen's flight path. An autopsy confirmed Bowen died from gunshot wounds to the torso and extremities. The investigation is ongoing.

On February 9, 2025, 20-year-old Arian Perez-Feliciano was involved in two carjacking attempts in Waterbury, Connecticut. When confronted by Detective RJ Sackett, Perez-Feliciano opened fire, injuring the detective in the thigh. On December 16, 2024, at approximately 2:20 a.m., a fatal accident occurred on Derby Avenue in West Haven, Connecticut. Panjala Neeraj Goud, a 23-year-old originally from Bodhan, Telangana, India, was a passenger in a Hyundai Elantra traveling at high speed. The vehicle lost control on icy roads, veering off the roadway and spinning sideways into the parking lot of a Citgo gas station. The Hyundai collided with a parked West Haven police cruiser, leading to fatal injuries for Neeraj. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

On 12/12/2024, 26-year-old Kenneth Montaner-Buscampell was found unresponsive, lying on his back on top of a table in the housing unit at the MacDougall-Walker Correctional Institution in Suffield, Connecticut. An emergency code was called at 7:19 a.m., and staff members responded to the scene. The state Office of the Chief Medical Examiner ruled his death a homicide by asphyxiation. Montaner-Buscampell was serving a two-year sentence for a fourth-degree sexual assault conviction.

Police were attempting to arrest Conley on an outstanding federal warrant for robbery and firearm charges.

When officers approached Conley’s vehicle, he reportedly fired a shot from inside, shattering the driver's side window. A number of officers opened fire, hitting Conley multiple times. He was struck, removed from his vehicle, and transported to Yale New Haven Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

On July 16, 2024, at approximately 6:21 a.m., officers from the Waterbury Police Department responded to reports of a shooting at a condominium complex on Armand Drive in Waterbury, Connecticut. Inside an apartment, police found a 65-year-old male victim who had been shot during an earlier altercation in the parking lot. The victim identified the shooter as a 73-year-old male acquaintance.

Police located the 73-year-old man in a common area of the complex. As officers approached, the man used a firearm to take his own life. The 65-year-old victim was transported to a hospital in stable condition.

West Haven PD arrived on Terrace Avenue on a domestic violence call and encountered Jovan Washington. Police got into a shootout with him and killed him. A police officer sustained a non-life-threatening leg injury. No more information has been released at this time.

Wolcott PD arrived at a mental health crisis with a suicidal man who had cut his neck and was bleeding but was alive. The man allegedly did not comply with police commands, was tasered and then killed. It is not reported that any professional mental health help was ever made available before he was attacked and killed by police.

Police were sent on a call to check on a domestic disturbance. A window had been opened. Police entered and a woman told them “Mike did it”, referring to the window. Police found Michael Strenk in the kitchen holding an unknown type of kitchen knife. Officer Terni shot and killed him. No more information was initially released. Ledyard PD arrived at 70 Whalehead Road, the residence of 47-year-old Daniel DiCicco for felony warrant for Failure to Appear on weapons-related charges. The origin and immediate context of this charge, and thereby also its significance, are unknown at this time as police presented the matter as a simple FTA warrant in the news while they seemingly staged a small war against DiCicco with obviously most relevant context of the situation not relayed to the public by police.

On 10/19/2023, “authorities” reported by media which were later revealed to be local police together with the FBI, arrived at 70 Whalehead Road, a sparsely populated heavily wooded area and multi-team fed+local police allegedly evacuated the few neighbors this address shows on sat view to exist. The reasons for a preemptive evacuation are unknown and appear out of context with the official explanation that they were picking up an FTA skip on a simple warrant. Authorities in New London, CT County state that a search warrant to look for “weapons-related” charges was issued. This triggered today’s raid. The only other thing local authorities said on behalf of the PD+FBI raid was: “When agents could safely enter the property, DiCicco was unconscious and declared dead.”

Wallingford PD were sent to a home where Donald Passmore, 62, was suicidal and needed help. When police entered, he seemed agitated, was lying in bed and argued with police. Police fired 10 shots and killed him in his bed. Police allege that he had a .22 nearby but he was not seen holding or reaching for a gun, only gesticulating angrily with his hands while lying in bed when shot and killed. Middlebury officers were seen speeding and getting out of their vehicles with guns in hand and ordered evacuation of an area. Naugatuck and Waterbury officers arrived in unknown numbers and started a siege upon a residence. The man was later found dead inside during the standoff, allegedly having committed suicide under police duress. Katherine Colon was crossing a street in New Britain on foot when she was hit and killed by a New Britain police cruiser. Significant damage was visible to the police cruiser and there are unanswered questions where the officer was going, whether it was a dire emergency and what his speed had been.

On 08/08/2023, in West Hartford, Connecticut, Officer Andrew Teeter fatally shot 34-year-old Mike Alexander-Garcia following a series of events involving a stolen vehicle. Alexander-Garcia was allegedly driving a stolen Hyundai Elantra and did not stop when police deployed stop sticks. After crashing the vehicle, he fled on foot and attempted two unsuccessful carjackings before entering a Toyota RAV4 at Town Fair Tire. Officer Teeter deployed his K9 unit into the vehicle; despite this, Alexander-Garcia continued his attempt to flee. Officer Teeter then entered the vehicle and, during the struggle, opened fire and killed him. A report by the Connecticut Office of Inspector General, released on 12/19/2024, concluded that the shooting was justified.

Mike Alexander Garcia allegedly stole a car. Police chased him and put stop sticks down on New Britain. The car crashed as a result and he ran into other businesses and he tried to take a car from Town Fair Tire. Police chased him to Town Fair Tire where he fought with an employee inside the bay of the establishment. The officer opened the door, pushed his K9 inside. The K9 is seen on BWC in the passenger seat, tearing at his arms. The sound has been muted on BWC during a continuous dog mauling inside of a car. The officer then climbed into the car with Garcia. Garcia’s vehicle jolted into motion with the dog still attacking him and vehicle bumped into a police cruiser and a civilian’s car while trying to escape the police violence. He ran into a telephone pole and police shot and killed him.
