Spotsylvania deputies arrived at a gas station in the 3000 block of Plank Road in Fredericksburg to arrest Lawrence Toler for outstanding warrants. He got in his car and backed up, trying to evade police and hit an officer’s vehicle in the process. Police shot and killed him.
