Officers from the Wyoming County Sheriff's Office responded to a disturbance involving a man who had barricaded himself. An hours-long standoff ensued, during which the man shot at law enforcement. SWAT was called to the scene. SWAT used drones to assess the situation from outside, confirming no activity within the home. Subsequently, they deployed a robot which discovered the man deceased from a self-inflicted gunshot. No use of gas or other special tactics was mentioned in the report.
