On June 16 around 7:44 p.m., deputies and fire crews responded to a burning RV in an encampment off Trento Lane near Mustang Pond. They located Denny Benka standing on his RV porch. Carson City deputies were called to a domestic violence situation, found a woman who had been stabbed and had escaped and a man who had injured himself with a knife. Police entered the resident and shot and killed him.

Police were called when a truck drove unsafely and nearly hit pedestrians. Police chased the vehicle and the vehicle crashed into the police car, disabling it. The truck fled again, landed on a dirt road and generated a cloud of dust, eventually catching on fire. The man died.

Las Vegas Metro officers allegedly observed Michael Turner robbing 2 men and leaving in a car. Police pursued the vehicle. He stopped and crawled out of the vehicle. Las Vegas Metro PD were sent to 300 block of Casa Norte Drive Las Vegas, where they found five people shot to death and a critically injured teenage girl. Police identified 47-year-old Eric Adams as the shooter. He fled to a business in the 1600 block of Dwayne Steadman Avenue into a private backyard. When police cornered him, he died of suicide under police.
