Travis around 11 p.m. after a woman called to report a shooting.By the time police arrived, the woman escaped to a nearby store and police got into a shootout with the person. Cameron PD officer Joshua Lee Clouse was shot and later died. Long guns were used to shoot and kill Albert Rafael Acosta.

Officer Matthew Ethington II of Detroit PD shot his officer wife Maria Martin, 22, dead and then killed himself in a murder-suicide. Both were officers with Detroit PD. Maria Martin was the mother of 2 boys. Their toddler was found unharmed at the death scene.
