Christopher Clyde Valentine Jr., 25, was wanted on three counts of murder in connection with a May 18, 2025, triple homicide at the Midtown Daiquiri Bar & Grill in Macon, Georgia. On June 13, 2025, Bibb County deputies attempted to apprehend him at a home on Birch Street. Valentine died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound before he could be taken into custody. The Bibb County Coroner confirmed the cause of death and reported the body would be sent to the GBI Crime Lab.

On June 12, 2025, Beaumont Police officers responded to a house fire on the 2200 block of Fillmore Street. During the response, a man reportedly opened fire and shot one officer. Two officers returned fire, striking the man. He was transported to St. Elizabeth Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. On the morning of June 12, 2025, Zachary W. Fallon and his father, Shaun Fallon, allegedly robbed the Chelsea Groton Bank on Gold Star Highway in Groton, Connecticut. The pair fled and barricaded themselves in a room at the Super 8 Motel on Route 12, claiming to be armed and in possession of explosives. Groton Police and Connecticut State Police evacuated the area and surrounded the building, initiating an hours-long standoff. At approximately 11:05 p.m., police heard two gunshots from inside the room. A drone sent into the room found both men shot. Zachary was pronounced dead the next morning at L&M Hospital, while Shaun Fallon was hospitalized. The incident remains under investigation.

On the morning of 06/11/2025, Arkansas State Police and Van Buren County deputies pursued Joey Vincent Simmons II, a 23-year-old male wanted in connection with armed robberies at convenience stores in Conway and Damascus. Felipe Millan-Gomez, 32, was wanted for an armed carjacking in Onekama, Michigan, during which a female victim was reportedly forced to drive before escaping. The vehicle was later recovered. Millan-Gomezwas located on Interstate 40 in Carlisle, Arkansas, by U.S. Marshals and Arkansas State Police. During a traffic stop near mile marker 180, Millan-Gomez allegedly exited the vehicle and brandished a weapon. Troopers opened fire and killed him. Around 1:20 p.m., officers from the Allen County Drug Task Force attempted to stop a white 2004 Cadillac. The driver did not stop. Officers actively chased the vehicle northbound on North Clinton Street. At the intersection with East Wallen Road, the vehicle crashed into two others. Carolyn Hutchinson, 93, was in one of the struck vehicles and later died at the hospital from her injuries. The second driver, 80-year-old Larry Van Zant, was seriously injured. On June 10, 2025, around 9:00 p.m., a Kern County deputy attempted a traffic stop on a white Buick Century near Famoso-Porterville Highway and County Line Road. The driver did not stop. Deputies escalated a high-speed chase during which the driver allegedly threw objects from the vehicle. The pursuit ended when the Buick crashed into a power pole on Road 180 and Avenue 8 near Delano. The driver was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene. The Kern County Coroner’s Office has not yet released the name of the deceased.

A Jeep Cherokee, driven by 30-year-old Saidou Zanguina of Columbia, Maryland, struck the trooper’s unmarked vehicle. At approximately 10:38 p.m. on 06/08/2025, officers with the Cookeville Police Department responded to serve a domestic assault warrant on Dawson McCracken at a residence on the 2000 block of North Willow Avenue in Cookeville, Putnam County. Upon arrival, McCracken was armed with a handgun. Negotiations were attempted, but McCracken then allegedly drew his weapon and pointed it at officers. Officers responded by firing multiple shots, striking McCracken. He was transported to Cookeville Regional Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is conducting an independent investigation; findings will be forwarded to the District Attorney General for review.

Around 4:00 a.m. on 06/08/2025, Denver Police responded to a fatal crash on northbound Interstate 25 near the 20th Street exit. A woman driving a Chrysler van had reportedly been traveling the wrong way on the interstate since around 2:59 a.m. after eluding a Colorado State Patrol trooper near Mead. The van continued fleeing until it collided head-on with another vehicle. The female driver was killed at the scene. One passenger in her van and three occupants of the other vehicle were injured. The investigation is ongoing and involves both Denver Police and Colorado State Patrol.

On the evening of 06/08/2025, Kentucky State Police responded to a disturbance call at a residence west of Cynthiana on State Road 36 where 50 year old Ramon Morales had refused to leave the home. Before troopers arrived, Morales departed in a white Chevrolet van and when police escalated a chase, he struck another vehicle in a hit and run, then fled back toward the scene. Later on, a trooper located Morales standing on the roadside outside the original residence. During that encounter, the trooper open fire, hitting Morales. Morales was transported to a hospital and died from his injuries. The KSP Critical Incident Response Team is handling the investigation; no additional details have been released.

Dominique Cole, 37, was found unresponsive in his cell at Wilcox State Prison and later pronounced dead at a hospital. He was one month away from completing a 10-year sentence. On June 7, 2025, Sacramento police attempted a traffic stop on a man involved in alleged domestic violence. The driver continued driving westbound on Florin Road, and officers escalated a high-speed chase. The vehicle crashed at Florin Road and Greenhaven Drive, involving seven cars. Nguyễn Huỳnh Hữu Đức, an uninvolved bystander in one of the vehicles was killed in the crash. The man left on foot but was later apprehended. On the evening of June 7, 2025, deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department responded to a report of a robbery in progress in the 1200 block of Meadow View Circle, Lancaster. Approximately 15 minutes after the call, a deputy encountered a man armed with a firearm and shot him. During the exchange, the deputy was also struck by gunfire and was transported to a hospital. On June 7, 2025, deputies responded to a 911 call regarding a man experiencing a mental health crisis, acting erratically and breaking items in the street. Officers made contact with the man’s father, who confirmed his son was in a bedroom with a knife. Deputies attempted de-escalation while standing in the hallway for five minutes. The man then emerged and immediately advanced on a deputy with the knife, tried to stab the deputy, and seized at the deputy’s firearm. A deputy discharged his weapon, striking the man multiple times. The man was rendered aid and transported to a hospital where he later died. Sheriff Mina confirmed he has reviewed body-worn camera footage, which will be released within 30 days. A formal investigation is underway by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.

On June 7, 2025, at approximately 11:38 a.m., Amarillo Police responded to a welfare check at the Walmart parking lot at 4215 Canyon Drive. Officers found 42-year-old Justin Lee Crouch asleep in a vehicle and observed a firearm inside. As they backed away, gunshots were heard. An officer opened fire, striking Crouch. He was found dead in the vehicle. It remains unclear whether the fatal wound was self-inflicted or caused by the officer’s bullet. The Amarillo Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating.

On June 7, 2025, a 55-year-old man reportedly returned to his former workplace on the 8300 block of South 216th Street in Kent, Washington, armed with a rifle and set fires inside the warehouse. Police and fire crews responded and evacuated nearby buildings. A prolonged standoff ensued. Officers used a drone to assess the interior. The man was later found dead inside the warehouse from a gunshot wound. Authorities have not yet confirmed whether the fatal shot came from law enforcement or was self-inflicted.

Kevin Gardner, 33, died during a traffic stop on 06/07/2025 in the 6000 block of Old Pascagoula Road in Theodore, Alabama. He and another individual were placed—uncuffed—in the back of a Mobile Police Department patrol unit while officers attempted to identify them. Gardner reportedly suffered a medical episode while in the vehicle. Fire-Rescue and EMS responded, but he was pronounced dead at the scene. Gardner was awaiting retrial for a 2019 murder case after a previous jury failed to reach a verdict. It is unknown, whether substances or summer heat exposure in the vehicle contributed to his death.

Dallas police responded to an armed carjacking involving a stolen Mustang around 1:30 a.m. on June 6, 2025. Officers located the vehicle at a gas station, but the driver did not stop. Dallas police chased the vehicle driving on the wrong side of Northwest Highway until it collided head-on with a police SUV near Dallas Love Field Airport. One passenger died at the scene, two others were seriously injured, and two officers sustained injuries—one serious and one non-life-threatening.

On June 6, 2025, around 3:45 a.m., Pittsburgh police responded to a domestic disturbance at a home in the 200 block of Carpenter Lane in the Brighton Heights neighborhood. Officers escorted a 73-year-old woman to file an emergency protection-from-abuse (PFA) order against Charles “Rick” Nesbitt.
Shortly before 6:00 a.m., officers returned to serve the PFA, which included an eviction notice. Upon entering the home, Nesbitt stabbed one of the officers. A second officer opened fire and killed him. The injured officer was treated on scene for minor wounds.
The Allegheny County Police Department is conducting an independent investigation.

On June 6, 2025, around 5:11 a.m., deputies with the Adams County Sheriff's Office responded to a welfare check at a home near Lofton Court and Kokai Circle. A 51-year-old man armed with a knife was encountered outside. Deputies used verbal commands, a Taser, and less-lethal projectiles, but the man continued advancing. Deputies opened fire and killed him. Inside the home, deputies found two deceased individuals, believed to be the man's in-laws. The man is suspected of killing them before deputies arrived. The coroner will determine official causes of death.
